This guy is truly aluta conscious. I had once been confronted with such situation in 2003 and it cost me a carryover but i never begged the school management for any pardon, i almost got rusticated but for Ogboju and little academic skill, they would have sent me packing from the school. The worst they did was tampered with my G.P and held on to my NYSC call-up letter for some days, at last i graduated and served and continued the struggle. Activism is not for the chicken hearted, those school management boards controls some cult guys that could send shiver down your spine if need be, but you have to be strong, relate well and be liked by the bad guys, else, management can set a trap for you if you are pain in their ass.

But at a time, there was a perceived injustice perpetrated against a friend from the students affairs division of my school, we took it up and while we were about suing the school authority, the lawyer we contacted, an activist simply told us the truth, "Collect your certificate before fighting the school authority" else, they can capitalize on it and withhold your entitlement...They have the autonomy, and as much as we have a court system that is controversial, you may finally win the case against the school at a time when you are just ripe to be a grandpa. A proverb by the Yoruba people suggests that the only way to recognise a warrior is by retreat...because by retreating one still lives to fight another day. Those fraternity guys that say that you should use your six before your seven are deep thinkers. They are trying to tell one to use his sense before applying the weapon...

shame on you and what has been the employment situation of Nigerian graduates. How many years did you waste at home before getting a reasonable job. Certificates without portfolios. Ur advice for him is that he should wait till he become one, a wasted graduate witout job before speaking his mind. I'am very sure the guy have an alternative plan because every guy like these knew the reaction such article can generate among these bullys, 4 eye Professors and he will take the next suiting step.

I consider the 4 semesters expulsion of d guy as an award. It will be of great benefit to him in the long run. If I have enough, I will even sponsor d guy to another better school. If this happened in a developed country, the authority of the school dare not make such ruthless decission and if they do, they will be regretting by now.
