Germany = 8040euros minimum
Italy = 5000euros minimum (because you can get some local scholarship within your region)
Finland = Germany

But I heard tuition is free in Germany...

Apart from the Block account.

EE but your course really doesn't matter as long as you are good and understand the system. Most of the tier 2 jobs then were with the big four.

big four? who are they?

Lol! In Finland, after your master's degree if you are ok with CLEANING jobs you will be fine earning around 1500e per month. Some black PhD students do cleaning/ delivery jobs here... Just to let you know... Finns won't give you white collar jobs... #facts

I hope you know the current exchange rate. With 1500 euro per month you go marry, by land, start foundation, complete your house.. Your mate wey dey wear tie go work for 9ja go dey live for rented apartment for mainland dey suffer for traffic dey go work for island and it would take them years if at all they can to earn equivalent of that sum in Naira. Dey there dey despise humble beginnings. As long as you have a plan I see no reason why doing good paying odd jobs should be a problem.. Even if e mean to wash dead body sef.. I pray say i no do am oh.. Key word is "PLAN".

Wow, wonderful insights.

For me studying engineering, I've heard people advicing me to opt for India instead, I even had a friend in year 1 then leaving us to India.

Forget India and Malaysia, S/A is even better than them. Go to other countries that your money can afford

Some of my friends did their masters program in the UK and they are still there doing very very well that even one came home 2month ago and we role together before he left.

It all depends

Depends on when they did their masters. The system has changed greatly in the last 2 years

Good day house, let me just chip in my little experiece, I think the OP is right. I was in the UK for 7 years, was lucky enough to be among the last set to get PSW visa for 2 year until Thresa May started her wahala. I had to return back to nigeria after the expiration of my 2 years visa cos I couldnt renew nor change into any other immigration category.just before you guys start advising on getting married to a briton or so, I tried that as well, I cant recollete how much I lost during the process. You see that's why I believe information is always powerful, I wish I knew about other countries that I could easiy study and stay back to work. To make matters worst, I had to convice my girlfriend to come do her master's in the UK as well thinking she would get the 2 years PWS to work. But for where, we both back in nigeria now. Thank God for her she's got a job unlike me still submitting applications daily. I just wish I knew. I cant even remember the street I stayed back in London again. So my candid advise, if your intention is to go staudy abroad to stay back, pls and pls dont waste ya money going to the UK. Canada or Austaria is a much more better destination for you unless you be politician pikin. Still suffering from my mistake. I came back to nigeria a day to the expiration of my visa cos I really dont wanna over stay so I can easily go back in future. So tired of Nigeria right now.

Word, only a few people get a job that will sponsor them.

What are the chances of single female?

To be honest couples stand better chance cos they always combine points on age, education etc. A single person can also make the move but your total score must be very high (you may need a provincial nomination, a job or Canadian work experience/ certificate) or at least many years of proven work experience elsewhere, at least a Masters, less than 34 years of age etc

There are only 17 medical schools in canada. These schools admit an average of 100 students annually. The students are selected via very competitive methods. Students usually have at least a first degree, years of volunteering experience, excellent high school grades and degree grades. There are interviews usually about 3 before an offer of admission is given.

As it becomes very difficult to become a doctor due to stiff competition (they make at least $250k annually), alot of student move to carribean uni's that have affiliations with american hospitals, so they easily get a residency match after graduation and subsequently permanent jobs in the US.

They all love to come back home to canada after grad, but they are classified as IMG(international medicine grad) which makes it more difficult for them to practice in canada due to tough evaluation exams and matching requirements. Doctors in the US also make more money than in canada, so there is no motivation for them to come back. 2 of my church members sent their kids to medical schools in the carribean last year. They both already hold biological sciences degree from canada. When they couldnt get into canadian medical schools, they relocated.

Wow! It's that serious!

Thanks for the enlightenment.

pls which skill will u advice me to acquire now b4 moving to Canada?.....pls

Try lambton college or Fanshawe college but I strongly advice lambton because they have lots of 2 year post graduate programs and if you do a 2 year program you are entitled to a 3 year post graduate work permit.

Like i said before..the UK immigration policy is a public knowledge and before you spend your millions to study in the UK think carefully what your opportunities are, don't come and start moaning about how bad the immigration policy is, you were not forced to choose the UK.

Hoping to get married and stay back is actually a very shallow minded plan because that doesn't guarantee you a brighter future in the UK.

Basically you are entry into life mortgage after the sham marriage

.....if one get's the chance to graduate! If the school's sponsorship licence get's revoked during the course, affected students have 30 days to leave the country!

It's not the only country. It can be done in the UK, and many students have transitioned to British citizens in 5 years.

I support the view of the OP based on the current immigration climate in the UK. I would join the OP to urge prospective international students to consider migrating to countries with flexible immigration policies. The UK has got one of the best tertiary education systems in the world, but the downside of the UK is that it has a draconian immigration structure, even more so with the 'Brexit' decision. If the intention of the international student is to get a good education and go back to his/her country, then by all means, come to the UK; but if the intention is to stay behind after studies, it's increasingly difficult (not impossible) to do that in the UK.

There are only 3 main routes of staying behind for an international student in the UK; these are the Tier 1/2 visa route, the marriage route, or the British Army route. These routes are not easy to get, and the system has got safeguards (pitfalls) that you must go through to get to the end point i.e. British passport.

It sounds funny when the point you raised contradict your explanation. You first said it can be done in UK, then you went ahead to explain that the stringent immigration makes it impossible for international students to become citizen. Lol

This is not about bragging, but the most immigration friendly country to international student as at today is Canada. Apart from the cold (that one can get used to with time) and international tuition (that's even lower than that of UK and US), Canada is such a lovely country for international students

Sir pls where are you allowd to work as a student......if yes how much?

You are allowed to work as a student, and you don't have to pay a dime. However, you are only limited to work for only 20 hours in a week when school is in session and full hours during break

There is nothing that is free in reality. Tho the amount of money that you'll pay is relatively low (i.e Student whatever fee) which varies from 110euros to about 300euros.
The REAL problem in Europe is accommodation.
All the best.

i never mentioned anything bout getting goods job or not with msc in canada. This topic is not a canadian diploma vs certificate vs msc thread. But still at that, someone with an msc or phd stands a better chance on the express entry system than someone with a pg dip or cert. Its a point based system.

Yes. An ordinary diploma can get you a good job. The way things work in canada is somehow different from the rest of the world. Where I work, alot of powerline technicians make more money than our engineers or technologist.

Starting wages
before tax.
Journeyman PLT: $100k.
Technologist: $78k
Engineers: $98k

I havent seen my company hire a pgcert or pgdip. If they do, they would likely employ based on your degree. Pddip or pgcert is not common in western canada. I think it's an ontario thing.
Talking about powerline technicians earning more than even engineers, you further corroborated what I have heard about power engineers getting paid higher wages than even petroleum engrs in Canada. I will be going for my Msc in Power Engineering (I have got a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering) this october at a university highly rated and ranked best technical university in Germany- Technical University of Munich. I intend to port to Canada after the program. How are my chances of securing employment in Canada from Germany with this prog?
What kind of company do you work with in Canada?

The skills you'd gain when you study there. But while schooling you can still do normal no skill or semi skilled jobs to help support yourself.
