Water is a combination of Hydrogen and oxygen. Simply put; it is formed when Hydrogen is burnt in the presence of oxygen giving......water.

I do not understand. Water is water anywhere whether lab or ocean. The differences in salinity or Acidity does not change its basic chemical properties. It's still Hydrogen+ Oxygen.

I'm no geologist but I think there are 2 competing theories neither of which are mutually exclusive that discuss this namely being

One; Earths formation occured with a lot of ice particles being a major constituents in the particles that acreted together to form Earth. The theory states that earth already had water (in the form of ice) during its formation. Hence, the presence of abudant supply of water we have here on earth.

The other theory states the importance of asteroids bearing gifts water. According to it; water on earth was deposited by the continous bombardments of asteroids and comets which contained water; all of which made the earth accumulate water into a very sizable quantity.

Both theories have some flaws and are not completely verfiable; but they are the best hypotheses we have now.

You are an individual that puts one at cross road with God, "amuni she olorun". People would only understand issues from their own perspective/ point of view I get that. But how does atheism come into play here? I don't know. God is obviously not the answer to every phenomenon on earth and you know it. How is that gibberish? Folks lets me more rational sometime and leave God out of it, you think thats an inhumane way of relating? The result of intuitive thinking are you kidding me? I specifically gave the water example from experience so that we could see how some people wanna learn the mechanics how things work and some people just wanna pin it on God. Actually I think everything is wrong with God did it. Like I have said across this post, it is a lazy answer which is wrong by the way that we have gotten used to. If we can't explain something God did it seem like a very good explanation for a kid not a productive adult. Maybe you want to tweak the question to how did God do it, might make you want to be more inquisitive in the quest for knowledge I don't know. But If we don't understand things and rather that sort for answers, the best we can come up with is "it's God doing" don't check it. Wouldn't that just make us more ignorant? I think I have made my point and we don't actually have to agree. It's an impasse, no point arguing.

OP I support u here. I am a Christian but was once over religious and too spiritual. This affected my thoughts and actions up to the extent that I see things in the spiritual sense, instead of thinking otherwise. I changed my mindset concerning my over spirituality and it has helped me a lot. I now think outside the box before even thinking spiritual. 3 days ago we were hearing some sounds on our ceiling (rat sounds and movement). In my mind, I was setting plans on how to spray rat poison on that ceiling so as to kill the rats and prevent further disturbances but my elder sis on the other hand was like...
