I will say this for all who believe this is that if one or two armored tanks can survive the war, what happened to the research centres, the mines, factories where these things were produced? 5 Likes 1 Share |

jollymizzle:Soviets were on the Nigerian side, nigga. These technologies as at then were proprietry and advanced for African standards let alone a breakaway nation blockaded by land and seas. Even food was not passing through the borders let alone weapons. Get some education, you afonja and stop putting everybody on the same pedestal you put yourself. Even in 2016, the only place where you can get a decent level of manual engineering and reverse engineering and its applications is in the east. Nowhere else in Nigeria. 33 Likes 2 Shares |

ashjay001:bros, there's hidden potential in Igbo land. At the age of 27, I had already identified and extracted a diuretic phytochemical in a very popular plant that can help manage hypertension. My brother who is a chemical engineer is working on a local drug synthesizer. The molecule is going through preclinical tests, the government of Nigeria is not helping at all coupled with the financial setbacks we have had in coming up with the drug synthesizing machine. If I have the then government of Biafra, you think I wouldn't have gone far with all the preclinical tests? We may have dusted that part and even gone ahead to develop other drugs and machines because we know what we want but no fund, no functioning research institute, no facilities in the country. Let me just hint you on the little contribution I can make if Biafra war should come again, I can developed biogenetically engineered microbes (which name i wont give here) that can degrade some particular metals, l know I will get a good platform to carryout the research because the fund is now available unlike the then Biafra (I'm already doing little things as regards that incase the war comes again). This time, you will see the full technological potential we posses. Or just give us independence, lets plan ourselves, this country is annoying to me. 59 Likes 9 Shares |

PaulIdu: Oga why are u bothering with enlightening this people? I couldn't help but laugh when I read reno omokri stuff on biafra and how u.s treated Japan after war Many of them were masturbating on that thread and I was laughing Firstly it's murtala mohammed who successfully crossed the river niger after being beaten back twice... it's not easy to land ashore the enemy beach (ask allied forces during ww2) he lost a lot of men but once he landed all biafran forces took off. He then left after disagreements with superiors over proceeding to Enugu or so (can't remember) Also it was germany that wowed the world with their inventions especially the u-boats and a special transmission device used to send messages that took years for allied forces to crack. The useless omokri didn't inform the biafrans what Japan lost during that war... japan's saving grace was their emperor who didn't run away unlike ojukwu . Bros pls let them keep masturbating on technology that made them even more vulnerable to NA attacks 2 Likes |

Warship:don't praise yourself over nothing, those are refurbished tanks and weapons of World War II supplied by France. Biafra never manufactured any weapons. The ogbunigwe is a mere crude landmine that was so unstable that it was lethal to the makers. The war was only lost because of greed. They were so greedy they even killed the only yoruba in their army, Victor Banjo, who took over Benin city just in a day 7 Likes 1 Share |

On a serious note, the Nigerian security apparatus are a bleeding disgrace. The crudeness alone is just vomit inducing. It is hard to believe they have such technically gifted people as citizens. Even the fact that ojukwu and his team could dream and attempt stuffs like modular refineries,Tanks and an under-water submarine system just shows how they shitt on Nigeria, who were probably still thinking of how to pay Egyptians to fly their imported MIGs. Extrapolating biafran ingenuity of the 60s to 2016, we are talking of atleast a medium level technological power like southafrica , Egypt or even south korea. What a crying shame. 18 Likes |
