No matter what anyone may say, I am proud, very proud to be an Igbo man. It is a rare privilege and I sincerely do not owe anyone any apology. Op and other Igbo sons well represented here, let's carry on from where our heroes stopped. I am only saddened that our leader now are imbeciles. Even our govnors should have come together to forge a common agenda for the southeast, a Marshall plan that we see us soar higher. I have a plan, but will our guvnors and leaders listen. Op, thanks again for this post. You just re ignited the spirit of excellence in me again. Jisi ike 14 Likes 1 Share |

sukkot:Look at the amount of hate poured in this thread. I don't understand why people who hate each other so much should live under one roof. It doesn't make any rational sense to me. Just look at the hatred on this thread. It's a shame. The Yorubas were living wonderfully well before one white man joined them with people of other cultures, spirituality and language. The Igbos were living peacefully before one white man joined them with people of different culture, spirituality and language. Even though these tribes or nations ave skirmishes their reconciliation come easy. Now for some reason some people want to clings so hard to the people they so much hate. To me, this is stupid and immoral. Some will say Nigeria will collapse if a certain section leaves even though they didn't collapse all those years prior to that forced marriage. See the hate in this thread. Smh. How can I hate a student so much and vice versa, quarrel and fight literally and metaphorically dirty with him or her but when it's a new session we renew our rent under same roof? Ritchiee:Yoruba controls 70% of the ICT in Nigeria, how and when? Can you please post your data and also show us the percentages by tribe? You should also post the numbers of indigenous application built by Yorubas that gives it this 70% lead. These applications must be world standard, and used by global communities. Links should also be provided.. You should also lists the start ups that really having global impact in the tech industry by Yorubas which add up to the 70%... PaulIdu: You should take the info on Wikipedia with caution. Articles can easily be created or modified. For example, I just edited the info about mitral Mohammed later becoming the Nigerian head of state. It's even possible that the topic was created today. I checked the last time it was edited before I edited. It was 1 hour ago 1 Like |

Warship: Dts actually a lie. YOU should go back to history, not propaganda. Biafra was HEAVILY supported by the French.I still watched this in a documentary on aljazeera this month. It was a documentary interviewing French intelligence & military officers on their war games in Africa. They specifically stated dt they wanted the oil rich Biafra for themselves against the English. I was watching the documentary with amazement. They supplied weapons to the biafran army, brought in biafran soldiers to the central African republique for training & went on to tell how they ensured they sold a propaganda of "genocide" to the intl community, all in an effort to force the secession. I will look for dt documentary & post a link here. U shld check back. Hope u watch it. It's really sthn. It made me realize the Nigerian civil war was not just a war between nigerians. The actors were all pawns. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Kaysalas: were you aware that it took the tech industry years to perfect the microchip design. Are you not aware that computer was once a mechanical device? Do you know that programs was once feed to a system through a tape system? The Biafrans achieved those feats in less than 3 years... give it to them. Even your FG acknowledge their ingenuity. I'm surprised at my western brother criticism here. Even if the biafrans only assembled those meters as you people claim, why can't the entire Nigeria assemble caterpillar since end of the war? Biafra to me originated from Egypt and that is why their creativity is nest to the Egyptians technology. They actually made those machines no doubt 8 Likes |

Guys let us forge ahead and forget the past , its war which we all know that no victor no vanquish . Let us respect each other and stop condemning each other . During wars countries improvise on what they dont have and usually they develop quite rapidly post war example are germany, japan , us the whole europe etc . Sincerely we should be far beyond what we are now . |

NobleG1: I asked you for the name of the charge used and you can't say but you think I am the one that missed science class . You think everyone is an illiterate right ? Till now none of you even know what the Ogbunigwe was ..some have said it was a grenade launcher others have described it as a surface to air missile while some even said it was a mine ..I have looked at the design of that silo and I know it was used to launch some kind of crude solid propellant rocket which couldn't have travelled more that 4 kms and the total rocket wouldn't have weighed more that 25kg both rocket and what ever payload it bore with the rocket itself being 75% of the entire weight. .that brings me back to the question of what kind of charge was used in the crude weapon that made it more devastating than proper artillery rounds which could travel further and more deliver more precisely.. please don't tell me about how many grenades can destroy a country 2 Likes 2 Shares |
