FCT should be treated separately, since it is the capital of all Nigeria.

This is what the PMB state got

North West
Kano State N32.14 billion (43.61 %) for 166 projects;
Kaduna State N19.82 billion (26.99 %)
Katsina State got N9.52 billion (12.92 %).

compared to what a state in the South east got

South East
Enugu State N10.15 billion (35.98 %)

Remember also that North-West has 7 states while South-East has 5

From the table, the 5 states of South-east (28,982 sq km) is just slightly bigger than katsina state alone with 24,971sq km

The largest amount allocated to any region is equivalent to the amount stolen by the illiterate NIMASA administrator under jonathan. A government this idiot was a part of.

Am glad this administration is determined on completing old projects to ensure the money invested in them was not a waste.

As you don turn information minister, explain why North West should get far more than South East and South South combined.

Explain why Kano alone shld get 32b which is twice what Lagos got and far more what the entire SE got

The amount allocated to Kano is actually more than sixteen times the paltry 1.9b allotted to Akwa Ibom, and then balance that with the fact that Akwa Ibom contributes more to the Federatn account

Try and be objective...for once. The issue is about federal government financed developmental projects.

Have you forgotten that many of the Nigeria treasury looters hail from your Yoruba tribe?
It's the same reason many Yorubas can't seem to do without 'One Nigeria'. Don't think you lots can continue to fool sane people with your silly campaigns via your Lagos-Ibadan Expressway media outfits.

Help yourself out with this compendium of your Yoruba kinsmen who ruined this country; care to sum up the billions of dollars looted:

From the table posted, Katsina has N9.52b while Enugu is N10.15b.

That's still no reason for any hypocrite to justify or sanction the abysmally low amount of developmental projects earmarked for the entire SE.

FCT belongs to all Nigerians and it should have been treated separately in the analysis by channels. The misinformation caused by muddling the FCT budget up with that of the north central is really unfortunate. No matter the subsequent explanation that we are now seeing, some people would rather believe the initial falsehood and keep spreading that fake statistic around. I sincerely hope this thread gets to make front page so as to correct the false impression created by the initial thread.

There is nothing balanced there. This even makes matters worse as we can now see that it is a real 97% vs 5% scenario considering the fact that removing the projects for FCT, the allocation now follows the pattern of votes delivered to Buhari in that particular order.

The allocation to FCT should never be an attempt to justify the abysmally low amount of money budgeted for developmental projects in the entire SE zone. It's the height of hypocrisy and chicanery to attempt to do so using any trumped up excuse even in the face of the glaring lopsidedness.

What do you have to say about Enugu state getting more than Katsina state

How about we now go further to break this thing down according to population and check, say, per capita expenditure in each of the zones?? That is how you can tell if there's been foul play or not.

The reason why folks like Reno seem to remain relevant is because we have an almost endless supply of intellectually lazy folks crawling everywhere in the country, especially those whose minds have been ravaged by hatred.

This is what we keep saying about the presidential media team Modath. Those guys are too damn lazy!! This is an opportunity to bury "Wendel Simlin" forever but they'd never see it!! Get the population of the states and give us a breakdown of the figures per capita. I'm too damn sure when this is done, it would be revealed Buhari has done nothing but marginalised the North!

The president has no media team, let's get that out of the way, all he has are a few individuals who have no synergy, don't know what the rudiments of their responsibilities are.... issuing press releases that tend to cause more confusion!! The only redeeming factor is Tolu and he's still not doing it for me!!!!

Nope, it will amount to a waste... it's immaterial, moreover Wendell will find something else to muddy the water soon after.

The most important factor in all this is that, Reno's core supporters' club do not care about the truth as it is, all they are interested in is their own distortions & misrepresentation of facts to suit their agenda/narrative. & something to mourn/ wail over as well...

The be all and end all is that the president's media people are laggards!! Progressive01 just called it!!

Stop justifying the obvious lopsidedness in the polity by asking diversionary question and choosing to hype on false population figure.

The same population you lots vehemently reject the use of right indices in determining. The same population you lots would pad up using child voters during general elections.

Did you bother to ask why Kano State alone should get N32b while the entire SE zone a paltry N28b.
