My wife's friend got slapped by her husband for the first time in 8yrs of their marriage. Afterwards,she came to my house this evening,looking so terrible with swollen face,to explain what transpired between them. After listening to her,though I doubted her side of the story,what transpired was not enough to land her a slap on her face. Meanwhile, she was not really bothered that she was slapped but that it came from her hubby(Dapo) for the first time.

Funny enough, she said to me that because of that slap she has concluded that Dapo no longer loves her. That got me thinking why she could,in such strong terms, conclude that her husband no longer loves her.

If it happened to you,what would be your reaction?

I pray never to be a victim of such circumstance, but Eventually it occurs, please God, give me to zeal to endure it.

I would control my anger and would not slap her back. In fact I would still share the same bed with her but I would wake her up in the middle of the night to talk senses into her head. For real I don't know what most guys gain from beating or molesting their women.
