Don't know what you're implying oo but we sell Volvo cars and suv on a regular basis, many of which didn't even find their way to nairaland

Probably, your roadside kazeem is the one who doesn't like Volvo and will advise you against it owing to the fact that he knows he can't handle it and if you eventually buy it, you'll have to port to a more competent mechanic

First, it was overheating, now it is spare parts. You want to buy OEM parts for the price of China parts? Go to Ladipo and see if you won't get the parts there.

I'm only asking, cause I have a liking for Volvo but a lot of mechanics seems to discourage me against it

My brother, how we go do na, na to keep the temper down and continue to re-educate our brothers on the need to stop sterotyping and avoid roadside kazeems. During the 80's they all would have sworn that theres nothing good about any car thats not benz or peugeot and this same volvo we're debating now. toyota ti take over during the 90's and now all of a sudden volvo, benz and peugeot aint good brands anymore. They fail to see that all these roadsides want is a car they can easily abuse and maneuver cos theey're lazy to upgrade their knowledge

Volvo is a very good car. I have been driving s80 for more than 2 years now. I have not added more than a cup of water to my radiator. Its very efficient and rugged. I love travelling with it and honestly passing through a waterlogged area has never been my problem. I want to upgrade to a newer version of Volvo cuz I love it. As per part, I asked a part dealer why he doesn't sell volvo part. His reply " who go buy am, people no dey buy am because Volvo part no dey quick spoil like others. The pointers wey you con buy don dey my shop for six months no body ask am, I no fit tie my money down on Volvo parts o. When you get a Volvo part, you are getting a follow come or Original OEM. And it will last. Most mechanic don't know the nitty gritty of Volvo. If I notice anything, I go to Volvo forum online and check what the problem could be, I tell my mechanic what to do and I supervice it well well cux am an Engineer too. I am enjoying Volvo honestly . if you have a newer version of Volvo s80, let me know . regards
