This guy is either a recruited agent of Sergei Marvrodi or he's been brainwashed just like the previous victims. The peculiar strategy is to draw the support of the "lazy minds" by blaming the government for not doing anything for its citizens.

Problem with most Nigerians is that we're too lazy to exercise our brains. Now that the warning has been giving, the wise thing is for you to search the internet. Knowledge is power they say.
Here's a link to what MMM means and how it started

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MMM_(Ponzi_scheme_company)

He doesn't have any relationship with Sergey Mavrodi at all..he part of a group of Nigerian fraudster based on south Africa who have replicated a poor version of the Mavrodi scam to dish out to gullible Nigerians

Why wait for 30% return on investment, when there are so many things to do that can bring in far, I mean far far higher than that? The people who engage in this are just simply lazy and "mentally poor". If you have spare money, give it to charity. MMM is not one.

SEC has sounded the alarm and its just a matter of time before it crumbles like a pack of cards! If you are wise, go and cash out now! A word they say is enough for the wise.

Peace!

if you help someone. that amount let say N50k. this 50k will enters your mavro account. and it grows at 30% a month. at the end of 30days it will be N70k. so if you request for help. someone will help you with the N70 cash out. the person that help you with 70k another person will help that one at 30days. then u too can help another again and again just like that.
Abeg, I wam do MMM oh. So, if I help someone with 200k now, I fit see someone to help me even if my 200k has grown higher
Again, would my investment keep growing monthly if I no get help? Would I have choice to decline or accept help? smiley

mmm is not a business organization or cooperate investment platform and therefore cannot be registered under any government monitory or tax laws.

mmm is a social organizations base under the platform of social help or donation. people help each other. and I think they made it clear that it's not an investment platform.

there is nothing like scam there the only thing there is that it will definitely crushed. it's not a business but circular donations. the ponzi schemes is investment platform. although the similarity is the same.

as long as there are new people joining and helping each other the thing will keep going round. the sad part is that it will cut down business activity in the country to some certain %. as people putting their money in the scheme.

how its going to crashed? when people stop joining or stop putting their money. then their will be less donor who want to help and high receiver who want help. then it will crashed.

how do they get generate interest to pay people? I'm sceptical about investing in that
Re: SEC Warns Nigerians Of The Dangers Of MMM, Calls It Fraud by athorello(m): 8:12am On Sep 01, 2016
MMM will collapse.... I'm a member but it will collapse because of our mentality. People are not patient enough to keep the system running. The system can only be sustained if old members are going back to provide help and new members are still joining.
And who said the returns from the program can't be used for capita projects and other investments?
I would like to see it as a loan scheme (albeit anyone can repay you with interest).
There have been instances when someone's who'd given help requested for help and the person he was matched with withdrew or couldn't give the help. If one do not meet up after been matched for a period of 48 hours, such a person will be banned. Also, there have been instances where two or more people are matched to provide help to one person.
The system currently makes it hard to register multiple accounts since you'll need different names, account numbers, emails and phone numbers.
The real fear is that the system may become too big for its survival.

There's no need arguing with people who are destined to loose their money.

A little peek into mmm page on Wikipedia should convince anyone that still has doubts.

If only they will admit that banks are ponzi scheme, then I will agree that MMM is a ponzi scheme.

1. MMM is not an Investment program. We are helping ourselves to be financially free. The government has failed us and we have decided to help ourselves

2. MMM does not collect our money. We pay directly to other people's account.

3. MMM is not a company, as such, there is no point registering with SEC.

4. Is there any law in this country forbidding us to help our brother? If there is, then you can shut us down

5. If the government begins to gives us 24hours electricity, pay a minimum wage of NGN200,000 per month, employs everyone that is unemployed, then we can consider leaving MMM
My attention has been drawn to ur 3rd point, get ur facts right, SEC is not the same as CAC, anything that has to do with investment operation must be duly registered with SECOND even after ur reg with CAC cos they are the regulatory authority as far as investment in securities are concerned either u call ursef a company or a COMny

Mr man what are you guys creating wealth from? It's a textbook example of a Ponzi scheme and a weak one at that..have you heard about the perpetual motion machine concept ? That's what this is ..a gathering of very dull people who are desperate to create wealth from doing absolutely nothing till they get scammed

It would have been better if the invest the pooled money into a tangible business. maybe produce a product or provide a service that gives value and employs people

Honestly. I'm shocked.

Now that SEC has issued an official notice/warning, this MMM scheme is going down very soon.

Messages will have been sent to banks/EFCC to locate all their accounts and freeze them.
That is the mistake people like you are making...
MMM has no central account...it is not like other networking scheme..Bank/EFCC can never ever freeze their accounts because they have none..
I am not saying you should involve in it,but stop saying what you don't know anything about.
Show me one MMM bank account you know or have heard of...please do that to atleast put me to shame.

I understand your fears and concern, and I appreciate it. but I think I grabs the idea of mmm.
MMM is somewhat similar to some community groups in some communities in the middle belt especially Plateau State. These groups are called ''Adashe''. It's a sort of ''Donation Agency'' where members contribute certain amount of money weekly, monthly (as the case may be) to each other. These groups are common among women in plateau state. For example, a group of ten (10) women get together to help one another. They contribute say N5,000 monthly to each other. When it gets to your turn, all group members pay you N5,000. Thats N50,000, enough to start a small scale business like trading, making and selling of snacks etc. This is what some women in these communities do to raise money to start a small scale business.
These groups which are very common in rural areas are not investment schemes or business ventures. Just a group of women joining heads together to help each other out.
With what I have learn so far from this Adashe group, MMM appears somewhat similar to it.
That one is like esusu/ ajo. Me and my wife self they do such almost 8 years now without issues because calibers of people we deal with will not run away with your money.
You know their house, the members likely hv I.D card, they know themselves and know their shops and what they likely do with the money. So if they don't pay, they know where to go. But this one, if the last helped fellow that you have never seen disappeared, how are you going to go about it? This is what I hav been asking these agents? I never get meaningful reply than new members will join and pay blalala. That's why , I think they are very active in referral upanadan.

MMM Nigeria community is made up of Doctors, lawyers, engineers, bankers, teachers, students, entrepreneurs, drivers and people from all walks of life.
MMM has United Nigerians more than any other platform. People from all tribes and religion have come together with a common goal... To be financially free. To provide financial assistance to each other through voluntary donation.
This has helped to put off the pressure on the Federal government, but some enemies of the people prefer that the citizens continue to suffer so they can be forced to the streets to protest against the hunger and poverty.

Nigeria is faced with economic challenges. Investors are leaving the country. Companies are closing down. Workers are getting sacked. Inflation is on the increase. Money circulation is at an all-time low. People are hungry. The citizens need help. Urgent financial help to enable them cope with the present economic challenges.

MMM has United Nigerians and provided a platform for us to help each other. To reach out and provide help to those who need help. Now we can afford to eat good meal and pay our bills. We can sleep comfortably, knowing all is well and we are there for each other.

Poverty is not the lack of resources, but the lack of sharing.
MMM teaches and empowers us to overcome poverty by sharing our spare money.

Nigeria's population is said to be about 180 million people. Imagine if each person donates N1 (one Naira) to one poor man, he will instantly have 180m Naira. If we keep doing that, donating One Naira to each poor family, all Nigerians will soon be rich.
This is our goal. This is our vision.

We are MMM NIGERIA and together we are Changing Nigeria for the best.
