Some few months back, a Nigerian musician sang a song " who you epp". No sane reason exist for this business to thrive one day in Nigeria cos I think our people had been made wiser from previous scam businesses. While I do not know the genuineness or the workings of this MMM, I believe it has the trend or element of greed that all other failed ponzi scheme had. No 419 scam does not have an element of greed. Tell me one investment in Nigeria today that had 30%returns. So why won't people run into it. Sure the handlers are just using the money of some others to shore up the supposed returns. When they have generated enough bubble trust, they will resort to the strategy stated in this article and well, we all know no known address exist, no claim can be made 2 Likes |

So much negativism among my people. Tell me one thing in this world that is void of risk. In the site it is even stated that you shouldn't invest all you have, invest a part that you can do away with. No matter what, the pessimistic human being will always have a negative thing to say. Like someone stated. you need to call before you make payment so that assertion of Get Help being off for a while is not true. There is also a platform to write how you feel about the site and its activities. Bottom line is, there is risk in it but it is worth taking. Just don't put all your money it and please do not discourage others that wants to step forward. The best you can do is to remain in doubting nature and waka pass 4 Likes 1 Share |

aminho: You've been saying this same thing in every MMM thread; yet when you are quoted to substantiate your claim, you go dumb. Why not open a thread and discuss your experience so that others can learn? Attach payment slips, screenshots, names and phone numbers of those that got your 500k help if indeed your claim is anything to go by so that others can learn from your mistake. It will be an ugly thing that someone loses his money and complains here only for you to come and say the same thing happened to you while you had the opportunity to broadcast your experience and prevent such reoccurance. Manup and start a thread abeg and stop jumping around shouting 500k upanddan. 20 Likes 4 Shares |

This is what I said yesterday. https://www.nairaland.com/3321916/sec-warns-nigerians-dangers-mmm/3#48973060 Many Nigerians don't use their head. Even the educated ones are uneducated. Common sense is expensive in Nigeria. |

My take on MMM Nigeria and sec : Sorry but i will respond to these from a different side because, i ve over 20 twenty unanswered questions. 1.In 2008 and i bought Ecobank share for about 110,000# and till date ve not been rewarded up to 3000#. 2. In 2011/2012 Nigeria and China signed and MOU on Kanji Dam of repairs and others will are paying above $5m Intrest rate, on a 15years deal, now sold out after 2-3years as scrab to the so call rich boys(looters) 3.In the last election dollar where seen developing legs and arms sec was blind. 4.The government were now creating grazing the Field for cattle business boys. Sec was asleep. 5. The Minister for darkness told us on a national Tv to please pay in advance a service not yet rendered, sec where are you. 6. I want answer to these before i say more. Get these correctly we have stand to SAY NO to financial slavery and has come to understand in the power of giving. The only thing that makes a common happy MMM. If your is not making profit repackaged and refire, rather still, get people with great ideas to help out. Leave the shame invite expect and be free. MMM is sure and real and has come to stay. tempest01: Walahi with all the experience I have in affiliate marketing I'm still at sea over how this system pays. Nevertheless a closer look at MMM south Africa shows a safe proof system that can run infinitely due to the compensation plan but the payment module of the MMM Nigeria remains sketchy. 1 Like |

Dear Tempesto, I could not agree with you more. Its a non fact that during a recession people panic and worry. Fraudsters use this to their advantaage by advertising get rich schemes all in a bit to grab the little cash that people have left. We ve had different types of scams here like forex, online questionnaires for cash, etc. Dont forget about Umanah umanah of a few years ago that ran in several states in Nigeria. People lost alot of money . The only advice I will give to any investor is to get your money back after 60 days anything longer is pure gamble. These guys take money from people an share amongst their cronies giving outsiders a false impression that their schemes work. They have predetermined plans on how they intend to start the scheme and a well crafted exit strategy that ensure the scheme folds smoothly without people even knowing. They hire authority figures, celebrities and even Pastors to fool people into investing in the scheme. CAVEAT EMPTOR. 2 Likes |

IghoCentric: I love your Heart..... But the Fact still Remain that MMM is a Ponzi Scheme... And the Best way to go about Ponzi Scheme is Dive in Early Take What you can.. and Dive Out... But the Issue still Remains that GREED never allows the WISDOM of MEN take an EFFECT on MONEY so most people ends up LOOSING... i Actually don't buy personally in to PoNZi Schemes... But i don't Condemn those who takes the Risk in diving into it and making something out of it Before it shuts Down... But THOSE peeps i pity ARE the LATE comers.... MMM would surely ShutDown.... its just a matter of Time.... Peace out !!!! |

The problem with Nigeria is that there is so much joblessness among the youths, so they are ready to invest their time and the little money they have into any dodgy ''investment'' that promises huge returns. I don't know much about this scheme but I can clearly see that this is a Ponzi scheme. Years ago, there used to be similar schemes like "Plan-well", Fund-map" that used the same dodgy tactics, a lot of people lost their house rents and school fees to these scams. There are a lot of jobless educated illiterates in Nigeria who cannot see a scam even when it's staring them in the face. 1 Like |
