I will opine the fact that this present ordeal started when bukola sakari maneuver his way illegally into the post of the Senate president... I think we have a crack on the wall paving way for pdp members to perpetrate into buhari administration. We need restructuring of our economy.

2,240 votes and you said "Nigeria said". Wat is the percentage of that to 170,000,000

= 2,240/170,000,000
= 0.0013% of Nigeria. Not up to some families in the North. Not up to the population of a single Living faith Church.

There is no gainsaying that Nigerians are like the children of Israel who endured 450 years servitude in Egypt but couldn't be patient on a journey of 40 days to Canaan. Immediately they encounter lil problem on their way, they rebel and regretted leaving the land of the pharaohs (PDP) ...they wanted the lettuces, cucumber, meat( bribery, corruption, lack of amenities, sharing of national cake under PDP) in Egypt...they complained incessantly forgetting the numerous miracles wrought by God for their benefit. A journey slated for 40 days rolled into 40 years that just 2 persons of the original people who left Egypt made it with the new generation into Canaan. Just like the rebellious isrealites, Nigerians see gloom in every effort of the PMB's administration. If Nigerians had revel in PDP 16 years of wastage, without diversification and cheering the on paper largest economy status of Nigeria, what blinded them against the ominous sign inherent in a mono-economy like ours? It saddens me that some people in their various capacity as councillors could advise others on the need to patiently wait on God will in turn throw tantrums at the present Government when we all know that the remote cause of our woes started with the emergency of IBB as head of states who institutionalised corruption, encouraged indiscipline, devalued the naira and released political looters to spite the previous buhari/idiagbon govt,....that was the beginning of our doom...the cracking on the wall. But alas the hand writing was ignored because oil was still booming, politicians and military stole with reckless abandoned while the only man that had attempted to mould Nigerians and deal with looters wore a gloomy look in Benin prison. Then came in the politician again in 1999, history would have thought that these people have learnt something but no the partying continue, with them trying to out do others as regards the bigger looter...most projects if ever executed were substandard....education too back seat as mercenaries and school proprietors started making millions off the future of Nigerians...boko haram insurgency as well as militancy all became a conduit pipe to drain our common partrimony. Thus the journey that would have taken Nigerians few years to get to Canaan- economy prosperity and self sufficiency if the no nonsense buhari/idiagbon regime had been supported is yet to begin after 30 years. But like the children of isreal, we complaining again as this administration is faced with the u n daunting task of diversifying which according to former minister of finance takes some years.

You're right. They know quite well that they have failed but just want to deflect responsibility on PDP, who have been out of power for 1+ years now.
Honestly this govt are not ready to lead. They are getting almost everything wrong. One of their biggest excuses for resorting to an outdated foreign exchange policy was because GEJ embezzled national reserve. For that reason they baned the flow of dollars going out of nigeria. Unfortunately for them, as they baned dollars from leaving the shores of Nigeria, they at the same time baned the flow of dollars coming into Nigeria. When dollars was not coming in, CBN became the only source of foreign exchange. In the end, they were choked out of forex. If they allowed free market forces to determined the price of forex early enough CBN won't have gone through all the stress of defending the naira by itself. Foriegn investors would have compliment their efforts in bringing in their foriegn exchange too. No foriegn investor will invest or bring in his money in an atmosphere were he cannot repatriate his earnings.
This is exactly what many of us was saying then, that they should either devalue or float the naira ,the dullard man kept saying everywhere he went that he doesn't see the need for it and that he still need to be convinced.
This was the reason pat utomi even told him to shut up on economic matters if he has no idea about it .yet some moronic celibates who call themselves social media supporters keep applauding the dullard.

Is there any different between APC and PDP. When people blame party and not personality that provides services it amazed me. Politicians dribble us and we accept it even those that attended high schools. 50 percent of APC members to day contribute to the problem we find ourselves today. Stop blaming party, blame the personality involved. IT IS NOT PDP, it is individual

I see things and just laugh, isn't this government tired of the blame game already, when will they sit their ass down and work like they promised us?,instead of working, all we hear are excuses upon excuses, they are complaining about the past administration yet they are making it worse than they met it with their trial and error policies, they are saying buhari is not a magician, i wonder what is magical about making an economy better than you met it,what.is magical about making sound economic policies that will encourage investors, what is magical about improving the standard of living of your citizens like you promised during election campaign? Or the other countries that are doing it right here in Africa and have done it in developed countries did they relocate from mars?,I am tired of all this cat and mouse chase Abeg,we the citizens of the federal Republic of Nigeria want results, we want to see the better side of the change they promised us not this negative change we are experiencing

THE POSTPONED 'EVIL DAY' IS NOW HERE, BUT...

With the depletion in the country's incomes occasioned by the slide in global oil price coupled with the devilish militant activities in the Niger Delta area, ONLY a hypocrite will be surprised at the economic woes that have hit the country!

The confirmation by the National Bureau of Statistics that Nigeria's economy is now in downturn did not come as a surprise to me. From the days of my elementary Economics class, when we were told that the country was a mono-economy, I knew that this 'padded' reality would one day evaporate before our eyes.

Having willingly laid all our eggs in one basket for many years-and stupidly so-we ought to have anticipated this disaster. But we chose to play the Ostrich. We had sufficient notice of this avoidable calamity but we failed to make haste while the sun shone.

There is no amount of economic jargons, lamentations, criticisms or anger that will rescue the country from this SELF-INFLICTED pains other than economic diversification and prudent spending of the nation's earnings. Thankfully, the present administration has already set the motion in this regard. This effort should be sustained regardless...

I believe In Buhari/ APC!

Miss Ngene
Gbam!

A piece of info for all the ignoramuses shouting buhari's name as if he's a magician that should conjure dollars from the spirit world, the only way out of this mess is to diversify the economy and:

DIVERSIFICATION = YEARS + CASH!!!
