Check the history of UNILAG, even right from the era of Professor Awoniyi, Prof Akin Adesola, they always have people and students like this.There was even Olusegun Maiyegun who wears a natural heavy fearsome dreadlock and was the predecessor of Sowore. UNILAG has its history and tradition and clearly a matured university,not just a first class first generation university by mouth.
Don't you see that Sowore is already giving him his Sahara reporters platform to push Femi's struggle.

Please put the word in the right perspective so you will not give a generalized interpretation to the word 'Ignoramus'.He never said Prof Bello is ignorant in Chemical Engineering,his religion or family vocations. He just proved that as far as the main issue that led to the peaceful protest remain unadressed,his professors are either outrightly ignorant of the main issue or pretending to be ignorant of the main issue that led to the peaceful protest. He called them out to defend that tag they gave the public based on their actions.
Femi is a bright clearheaded young man, he is well grounded in his thought process and highly intelligent. The management should have seen it coming by not addressing the main issue instead of rushing to weild the stick of rustication. In case you don't know the venue of that Femi's interview in the video,that is the front of the Senate building where the VC office is located and the building right behind him is the University of Lagos Senate Council Chambers!!!

University of Lagos bragging? nada!!!The products speak for themselves. They go through twice as much stress to get admission when compared to other universities so credit them accordingly.Your school too can insist on six credits at one sitting, e no concern me.
I respect your opinion on the manner his message was delivered but for the collective good of the university itself, for once, forget about the messenger and focus on the message.
As we speak now, has the university resolved it's power problems?Is it only Femi that would benefit from the improvement in the power supply? Whose interest is keeping the young man at home for 4 semesters going to serve? How will the UNILAG authority handle this kind of situation if it rears its head again in the future?
These are the main issue that critical thinkers should focus on. Femi is still in training and it's still part of the job of his teachers to help him with delivery that may not sound offensive to people like you but clearly on the basis of the main issue,Femi is correct. Give it to him.
There's nothing dignifying when university students use ATM machine lights or street lights to study. It's shameful and should be condemned by all reasonable people.If Nigerian Universities administrators get it right with UNILAG, they will get it right with other Nigerian universities because most of these other universities, right from the era of Professor Grace Alele-williams and up to recently,they pick their VCs from UNILAG
