Obedient is better than sacrifice, hence more glorifying. People should learn how to pick their fights wisely. Tolerance is never a sign of weakness. Whenever you choose to fight a superior, associate or a close friend wisdom dictates that you should consider as broken whatever ties that holds both of you together.

The guy should have staged a solo peaceful protest after the group one or write to them privately in most polite manner instead of abusing the authority openly as he did. Through his actions, I see him as a self-conceited guy.

Am a product of UNILAG bro so there is nothing new under the sun here, absolutely nothing spectacular when compared to products from other tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

UNILAG power problems started when their special status on the grid was converted to normal, i remember those days when our power supply was everlasting only going off during exam duration to allow students catch some sleep cos craze fit start . UNILAG has peculiar challenges just like other schools which require some level of activism to bring them to lights. An uncouth and abusive manner will drown such activism to naught.


Prof. Grace Allele- Williams was a total aberration and disgrace to what a VC should be like. She was an IBB stooge who denied UNIBEN of her best brain by sacking and humilating erudite scholars simply because the likes of Prof Itsey Sagay, Late Prof. Festus Iyayi e.t.c dared challenged her overbearing attitude devoid of administrative etiquette required to run a tertiary institution, and also the undue influence of the military in the academic circle

Late Prof Festus Iyayi and his entire family were practically thrown into the streets by Prof. Alele Williams backed by her Military benefactors. She is indeed a sad story in the academic sector

Lol, I am very indifferent to his plight. My choice of words are to express the situation not my anger. While in school I participated in civil unrest within campus too but still graduated with a clean sheet and departmental recognition for not being troublesome. In their words, I was like a ghost. They only took note of my matriculation number when they marked my scripts and eventually had to see me before I graduated. That is what a student should be in school and in life. Drawing unnecessary attention to yourself will not help you. This boy's CV is permanently damaged as it is and even in business there's already a bad precedence.
