I contacted the UKVI for feedback as regards my application and received this mail:

whilst other administrative formalities are completed. The visa application

We advise that you do not make any payments for accommodation, travel and

They didn't mention accomodation and travel payment in my case. I paid for accommodation though.

Thanks... I didnt pay for accomodation in my case... Anyway will just have to wait and see what the outcome is instead of worrying my head

Friends please is it through that the embassy uses the exchange rate of the day you submit your visa application documents to judge or the rate of the day the money was fully deposited? kindly help a brother please.

Hi guys. I've been a silent reader of this blog. I'm currently filling out my application online for the tier 4 student visa and Theres a part where I'm asked for the main addreS and contact details of where I'll be staying whilst in the uk. I'm yet to get an accomodation so do I leave that part blank or put my university address?

I forgot to list that. Yes, I submitted IELTS certificate but you don't have to if you choose the part that says something about your school being a HEI blah blah. Can't remember that part

I have been using them over 5 years they are very efficient. I used them to pay my fees and then it was just slightly above bank rate. The rate was 489 last week

For those who took IELTS test, on the test report form, there's nothing like award reference number and there's a box where you have to fill your award reference number when filling your visa form online. Am I supposed to put the number that says "UKVI number" on the IELTS form of the number that says "test report form number"

2nd question is "have any of your course fees been paid"? Options are paid to UK education provider or paid to overseas higher education institution. I picked paid to uk education provider am I correct please. These questions are a tad bit confusing.

3rd question is the part that says have you been assessed by the sponsor by other means, for example references or a portfolio of artwork. That part too is confusing. I dont know if in supposed to say yes or no.

Please help.

As for your 3rd question, this information would be on your CAS. What they used to access you will be stated there...

It's approximately 80K, I paid 76K using a GT bank card

Once you receive the collection mail, you can go. It might come on Monday though. I observed they advise some people not to book flights or pay for accommodation on the decision email while they omit this in some people's emails. In my own case I wasn't told not to. We're you?

I think some airlines can hold a ticket for u for about 2 days without paying , that's what I'm hoping to do

just checked the mail, there was nothing mentioned about not booking flight or accommodation

So i doubt any insinuations could be made from a mail.. .. Next week no far.. will update you all on the outcome ...
