The guy that interviewed me seem to be from one of the IHS outside the country. Cause when I was asking him my questions he said he came to Nigeria just for this purpose that if I get called, the HR should be in a better position to answer my questions.

Hello house, I just got a mail inviting me for an interview in IHS, its scheduled for today 4th of september, the date and timing looks a lil bit awkward but i'm going anyway, gone through the thread i'm impressed, I think I have everything I need to know...Wish me well my good people

Well, you would only know your chances after the interview.

If you are being interviewed for Procurement, then it could be in relation to technical procurement where your knowledge of Mechanical Engr is applicable.

Has anyone in Legal, HR or Finance been invited for the second interview?

Truth is a lot of people across various departments and discipline have had their interviews. Someone I know said on the day of his which he had on Friday, his name was number 14 on Project Mgt list for the day- he was scheduled for 5pm. He noticed there was a 30min interval btw one person and the next.

There was another list of 15 people for another department which he didnt take note of above the one his name appeared on. So, we can say that on that page alone, there were 30 people for interviews. He also mentioned that there were about 6 to 8 of those lists he had to search for his name from. So, a lot of people have had interviews and have been invited for same. Not everybody is on nairaland.

It is a massive recruitment as they said, so it might take a while to round off. That means a lot more people should expect to get invites for interviews. If they are going to recruit for 5 regional offices as they said, then it's a whole lot.

Just my 2 cents here!

They actually wanted to conduct interview for some Kaduna Batch today. It was however postponed till further notice. Unfortunately I had traveled for 10 hours only to be told the interview has been postponed. I was furious and felt sad!!!!. Anyway Alihamdulilah!!!!!!!
Waiting for next line of action. I had my first interview in kaduna. Telecom engineer.
