It baffled me when some graduates can't write an application letter. Here, they said written application not typing application. They didn't say cover letter but written application.

Their website says cover letter while most online advert say written application, whether handwritten or typewritten we don't know, but I believe typewritten will be preferable.

. Stevosty, written application is what is started there like NUC recruitment currently going on. attached ur written application and CV and send. The written application should come first because that is what you are telling them you are applying for a particular position.

. my is handwritten application and I attached my CV along with it and sent. They didn't reject it or replied message rejected. I applied on the 2nd September

As you can see from the screenshot from NRC website, "detailed CV and Cover letter". I did exactly that. Applied on the 30th Aug and NO failed delivery. Following that line of thought, successful email delivery isn't a function of applications written by hand or otherwise.

This is very true my friend.. What I can only deduce is that NRC had the number of applicant they wanted and blocked subsequent ones from coming in. Its not the end of the world as the hustle continues.

I urge everyone that sent their credentials to the Nigerian Railway Corporation's email address: nrc.recruit@nrc.gov.ng , between Thursday to date to check their inbox again. The mail is bouncing back since Friday - it replys: "Message not sent...Mailbox FULL... Try again later..." Go back and check your inbox, others are complaining same thing too. The mail is bouncing back, it does not get delivered so don't be happy yet!

These evil Nigerian government officials have started with their usual pranks again. If the deadline is 18th of September 2016 and/or they knew that the thousands/millions of mails from applicants would make their inbox "OVER-full/crash" then why use online medium for the exercise? Wrong people in government.

You are right, that's what I deduce too. However, let's try again from maybe 10am tomorrow (Monday) and see if the response will be the same. It is just another Nigerian job recruitment and there usual palava.

Both mean the same thing - cover letter is just another "big grammer" for application letter.

Bruh! I dnt just get the main thing u trying to say. I sent mine since monday to this very add and no rejection mail. but with the recent development of mail rejections someone brought up 'recruitment' that aside. why shd mails be rejected when deadline is still some 2weeks Ahead, what happened with N-power much confusion and headache, what abt NUC opening, it became nulified, so why will I not we never get it right. Its tiring na.

. I applied on the 2nd here which is on Friday. Up till now, no mail or message rejection. Use desktop or laptop. I did mine in a cafe.

Am finding it had to submit my application, Its so annoying, been trying the Nigerian Railway website since Saturday
BTW I must commend the government for this drive to reduce unemployment rate in the country, From N-Power to FIRS which is still going on ..... Hope they continue the good work..

i Applied That Same Day With Gmail But PostMaster Failed.

I was able to send my application today around 09:03 am after 5 days of difficulties (unable to be delivered by postmaster).

Yes, that was what I saw. When applying for any federal government job, you have to sign on the application letter. I did that too.

. Yes and Signed on it too. See, that is not the problem. if you get connection, u get the job as far it FG job. whether written or typing ; scanning or not oo. connection is d key.
