What most Nigerians are yet to realise is that Nigeria will not and can never be good under Buhari. I usually tell my friends that Buhari is an agent of distruction. He has distroy Nigeria before but that time, he couldn't complete its mission. I'm afraid this return of Buhari is going to be one of the worst thing to happen to Nigeria. We have not even complete 2yrs and things are this bad.

And President Muhammadu Buhari is spreading that poverty the more these days.

Those who begged old and out-dated Buhari to come back from retirement to contest the 2015 elections, as well as those who voted for Buhari to become president are most ill-informed and ethno/religious bigoted class of Nigerians.

Define rich. America does not have the kind of resources we have. Neither does Japan. But somehow, they are far ahead of us. Why do you think that is? *Hint*. . . .The answer is not "our leaders".

No thanks to the corrupt people and their corruption. They ate the country to her bones just as the black ants used to eat a small chick they captured, nothing will remain except the feathers and bones. These ate a very rich forest to a barren desert, as locusts used to do.
And worst there are no justice nor judgment nor truth

All the UN is doing is further worsening our situation by dolling out this gloomy reports on Nigeria, so that intending foreign investors will loose the remaining confidence in Nigeria. Enough of this already. as if we don't know. come up with constructive criticism of this administration and ways Nigeria will get its economy out of recession SIMPLE!!!

When ur president goes in front of d world and say Nigeria is corrupt. Wat a pity. Hu is doing more harm.

Nigeria is a dyfunctional country because we chose to vote the party instead of the person. The day we change our view between party and part person, that day we begin to take step toward right direction. Before we should support any body, we should look at his antecident first. Poverty in the midst of plenty, it a pity

Nigeria is just trending on everyone's lips even the UN.

We've never seen this before is just to create fear. Problems problems no solution.

Pictures of dirty surroundings shows the citizens are lazy do not carry out sanitation or is it the government that said use stick and build on water??

We are all facing trying times but nobody should add negativity to the problems.

An objective UN report should state what the government has done so far, what has worked what has failed. What should be done in future to either solve a problem or achieve an objective.

I laugh when ignorant Nigerians classify Nigeria as a rich country. Truth is, Nigeria is dirt poor and among the poorest countries in the world.

I Agree with you that it's poor but I believe it's because of unemployment. the unemployment rate is higher than most country. However, Nigeria has wealth which is shared among the politicians and also they have resources which are sold to foreign countries and the money is also taken by politicians

I don't get it, are you REALLY living in denial??
An objective UN report says that almost 70% of our population are living in poverty and you are still asking for an objective report. Which other report are you looking for? Did you bother to read the report before posting?

You then go on to say that nobody should add negativity to our problems? Are you for REAL?? Do you even KNOW what our problems are? We as a nation are so PATHETIC that we do not even know what our actual population is!! We DO NOT even have ANY form of statistics regarding the poverty/unemployment level in the country and we have to rely on a UN report!

Please stop writing about things that you know NOTHING about and try to read up on Nigeria and it's sordid pathetic history. Instead of getting your news from Linda Ikeji blog try and pickup a newspaper to read. The UN report is 90% accurate and it is a true reflection of the current situation in Nigeria.

Our government has truly FAILED us!
