When did u get a mail from CIC??

I got the mail on Friday in the evening when i came back and checked my mail box.i observed it was friday as moniker@sheriff postulated that medical mails come and immediately while shivering, i logged on to my CIC account and saw closed and refused with the refusal letter attached my Heart cracked and i got confused,demoralized and cried.i am able to type here today cos i am a bit calm. Those who gets approvals should give a divine thanksgiving to God.

I remember one of those days you were frustrated and angry which i dont blame you.. U kept saying things like... Make dem even return ur passport for you to apply to other countries (I may be wrong) and many other stuffs but the bottom line here is.. when frustrated or sadden by the delay of CIC dont say things that will cause u something you will regret.

and i think that was a flemzy excuse they gave..

dust yourself.. Get ur GCMS motes.. Calm down.. Get a Masters course to study.. Apply and Pray!

I can tell you those who got their visa easily after the first attempt dont know the value of the bolded.

I scaled through after the third attempt and I can say categorically and emphatically that I just got Gods mercy this time....it wasnt a guruism factor atall

No. 2 says maybe it has not been entered to a system
how long should that take bcuz I have tried everything about linking my application..
and its on the 9th week..

is it possible it hasnt been entered into their system.. tho i have been mailed for medicals

pls help us with the link so that we can read it till the end to see more reasons..

Nice write up, we will learn from dat. But for me av never doubted d outcome of my app. Am not involved bt d 1 dat owns d universe. All I kept saying n continue 2 say dis; dat it wud end in praise. I feed my Faith n starve my fears.

I paid 7789cad 1st semester tuition fee,
My blood mother was my sponsor and still active in service,Inshot a Bank officer at zenith bank and i am the only dependant in her sponsorship.
Statement of acct for the period of 6months,no money lodgement, was 13mill inflow,6.1mill closing balance,her land docs,her stocks and its certificates.
total remaining school fees + accommodation and others were = 29200cad.employment docs of hers,her payslip,her work Id,intro letter,sponsorship letter,affidavit of support were in place. This is a total heart break for me. I have already applied for my GCMS NOTE and about to terminate my PGC admission with my school.To me it's clear CIC GAMBLES with pgd(c) TRV applications.my hardworks went in vain. I just don't know how to start all over again

Seriously, MichV, I know a girl that applied in April and was denied for insufficient funds. She applied again in July with same documents but increased account balance and she got it few days to resumption.
Above all , Trust God.

I tink i understand y funds was tickd: official rate of canadian dollars is around 240. Using dat 29200×240= 7,008,000. funds available wasnt enough. An increase in funds will do the trick.

Do you have work experience and other documents to support your application? If you do, they may still consider you. Also, if your performance in the last two years is up to the required standard, they will still consider you. Look for a very strong area in your academic career and apply or try another school.

in as much as you have presented a nice post but i would say getting VISA is God's mercy on the individual. Some individuals with stronger faith,good apppication,who have read all the psalms pages in the Bible, prayed and fasted but still they got refused.some people become righteous and prayerful during visa period,go and watch some people's lifestyle and attitude after they must have gotten the TRV toward God and human.this is just using GOD as a SPARE TYRE.if God considers our iniquities, most of us here are not worth his mercies including me.my auntie would say na who oyibo wan give visa dem go give cos some application are not worth it still they get granted which we all witness here. Some don't even pray/fast over Visa and they are getting visas to many countries as they like.oyibo that brought out the word CONTINGENCY PLANNING never made mistake on that word and it's not a bad idea if one has or planning for one.if ur app has stayed for more than 15weeks,you would not blame/fault my thoughts/emotions.the mistake i would condone i made was letting my frustration out on the public forum.

quickly do this: resubmit immediately...fund the bank statment up to the bal of 10m...or transfer equi of 29,200cad(6,929,000) into your personal account..with an hyper SOP by your mum saying why shes determined to sponsor you with her available funds which is available in ur personal account..also show the break down of schl fees+liv xpens e.t.c in the SOP... and submit via paper only....they will give you...

sorry michV about your application, I believe it is because you program was pgd. it is obvious vo don't value pgd much and finds it difficult to believe that your mum will commit the required fund on your pgd study based on the closing balance. A master program will have sailed through because they attach more value and believe it is worth it even if your mum spend all her earnings and savings for it. Change to master and your will be fine or let your mum increase the closing balance to over 10m

Finally!!! I get to post on this platform after reading upto the very last and latest page( though this is my 2nd post right).
Have gained a lot while going through the thread, though some terms was strange to me during my first post buh at present I know a bit more than before.

I will start by congratulating all that has keep the thread moving. And I pray that all TRV hopefuls will definitely get it.

Those waiting for admission decisions will also get postive decisions by His grace.

Hence to MichV, please do not relent. You will surely get it.
Please try re-apply and better still if its Msc you wanna go for this time around its not a bad idea. God will surely crown it with success.

You cannot University of Waterloo admission letter. However, you can change school after your study permit is ISSUED by notifying CIC via your online account.
