Chigold101: You are too ignorant to know when an economy is being ruined. In fact the people who ruined your future have left office. Economies are ruined during years if boom. Jonathan not only ruined the economy for your generation during a period of boom, he probably took your children's future with it. Wrong choices, putting the interests of some idle billionaires above the masses, stealing of security funds, messing up tax collection , encouraging indolence and insecurity in the Niger Delta, rampant corruption, unbridled importation ...the list is long 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Buhari Not Against Restructuring - Ngige by Nobody: 8:49am On Sep 06, 2016 |
Chigold101:keep calm and stop complaining. The woes of our current economy is neva a fault of Buhari. He met a mono economic setting that will take time to diversify, and you need know dat economic diversification is not a short-term project. It sure will take time to materialise. I still find it very hard to believe the price of oil is below $50 a barrel while some months back it sold above $100. It's unfortunate that we had the right leader at the wrong time. Even you know this truth, but ur prejudicial stance won't let u say the truth. |

Zico5:The earlier you stopped blaming Jonathan for the current woes and move on with solutions the better and faster developments you achieve. Are you not aware of the national conference organized by the Jonathan govt where deliberations were made towards restructuring of Nigeria. I wonder how many people see Jonathan in their dreams |

Militancy ( Fulani herdsmen, Nigerdelta militants, Boko haram, a soon to be formed Northern minorities militants, etc) and economic realities will force Nigeria to restructure between now and 2023. Its sooner than most of us imagine |

funny people, he didn't create the problems and when he came on board, we started buying pms at d rate of 140 all in d name of subsidy removal, increased electric tariffs, stopped importation of some items when u have not done anything to empower dis farmers u want them to go back to farm. What about d laudable programs initiated by ur predecessor in agricultural sector? U blame PDP for d nation's problems and u have forgotten that 60% of d so called saints in APC are PDP. keeping blaming pdp |
Re: Buhari Not Against Restructuring - Ngige by paskilo247(m): 10:10am On Sep 06, 2016 |
franciskaine:Typical APC supporter who was like Chelsea fan who loved José moriho so much that even when he was taking chelsea to relegation, he still loved him saying he could do it for them. Tell one good thing that a poor man in the street who is not comfortable as u re has benefited since ur good leader came to power. let me mention increase in petrol to 140, increase in electric tarriff, stopping importation of some items wen u have done nothing to empower d farmers who will produce food that over 150 million will consume, forex ....maybe ur villagers benefit from it or is it one sided corruption fight. If d people who supported him could criticise his policies if at all there's one, then what we re talking about. 1 Like |

magoo10:who made it so? GEJ! A confab whose recommendation is subjected to the whims and caprices of the N/A is no confab. GEJ had all d time in the world to implement the confab report, but he was taking Nigerians for fools by tieing the implementation to his 2nd term. |
Re: Buhari Not Against Restructuring - Ngige by magoo10(m): 1:19pm On Sep 06, 2016 |
franciskaine:It has to be so because he is not running a military style of govt he alone couldn't set it up and also implement it,for it to be implemented it has to pass through the national assembly. the present govt still have a chance to make reference or whatever changes deem fit if they are serious to move the nation forward. you can't prove it that he was intentionally delaying for 2nd term, the national assembly on its own is a separate arm of govt there is no way he could be blamed for their actions or inactions. My boss whom I served when I was still being tutored once told me that you cannot blame people for your failures,it is in itself a failure to you and carwardice . there are leaders who have found themselves in such position as the present federal govt and at the end of the day turned things around for their citizens, that is the reason why they fought hard to be there in the first place yes we know Nigeria is that bad which is why they were voted in so why the Jonathan did this Jonathan did that. Let them get to work 4years is almost here |

Re: Buhari Not Against Restructuring - Ngige by Nobody: 2:20pm On Sep 06, 2016 |
magoo10:First my major disagreement is- what statistical or accurate information do you have to know that our solution is tied to a national conference? Right from 1950s till date we've had numerous conferences bothering on national issues, why have all these conferences failed to solving our myriads of problems? That confab stuff is just nothing but an overrated political gimmick and manoeuvring technique adopted by politicians to buy time. If only we adapt fully what we have effectively, majority of our collective challenges will be far solved. Saying that the national assembly made the confab fail is just not being fair with the truth. A confab should be free from the jurisdiction of the national assembly in the first place, rather it's a plebiscite dat is best suitable to determine its acceptability. If we are to be honest, the president never wanted a conference knowing fully well it won't scale through the national assembly. It needs at least 2/3 vote from both chambers to accept it as a law which is nearly mathematically impossible. How many people actually admit to this fact that Nigeria is very bad even before now? I'm Igbo and I understand the dislike my people have for this present govt. Even before Buhari bcam president my people hated him all because of GEJ and have vowed to continue this hate. The castigation is just too unfriendly and uncivil. The govt actually needs our support to pull through in this difficult time. |
Re: Buhari Not Against Restructuring - Ngige by magoo10(m): 3:14pm On Sep 06, 2016 |
franciskaine:Let's not derail from the point of argument, I am not suggesting national conference or confab for the bases of reconstructing Nigeria neither am I convinced that restructuring is the solution to the present socio-economic problems facing Nigeria rather I was replying your post when you accused Jonathan of not doing anything to restructure the country and I quoted you by reminding you of the conference organized under him . at least I am aware of the recommendations made after the exercise which you can also make reference to,they were wonderful and if implemented will go a long way to restructure the country. true I did not support this govt in the elections rather I supported Jonathan because he was much younger ,vibrant and promising. but if Jonathan could make the first call to concede defeat who am I but to watch the present govt and pray for it honestly I do that every morning God knows. the point am trying to make is that the present govt has been on the mantle for close to 2years soon it will be 4years, they or you cannot go on blaming Jonathan for your woes. I doubt if president buhari in all his consciousness can make such statement as to attributing his failures to jonathan ,it is his supporters that do that to console themselves |
