The North Will Not Leave Lagos For Yorubas If Nigeria Breaks by SuperStiker: 11:40am On Sep 06, 2016
From the recent statement made by the emir of Kano that Nigeria needs Lagos more than the Niger Delta, it is becoming clearer that the north will not let go of Lagos like that if Nigeria breaks.

I can understand why Yorubas get so uneasy when the talk of breaking Nigeria comes up.

There will be fierce battles for the control of Lagos which would leave the city in ruins like Syria.

The northerners have threatened that they will take Ofa in addition to Ilorin now they also need Lagos.

I will not be surprised if one prominent northerners gets up tomorrow to warn Yorubas that the north will take Lagos with them should Nigeria break.

If you are smart enough you will see through what Sanusi said.

They will not let Lagos go just like that, they believe that Nigeria has invested so much in Lagos.

It is unfortunate that yorubas have allowed themselves to be used a pawn by the north to conquer the south... now the north see themselves as supreme and decided what happens. ..

..now, the north want Lagos because oil seems to be loosing value

We all know that Nigeria belongs to the hausa/fulani north that is why Prof Wole Soyinka described them as first class citizens.

Yorubas don't understand Sanusi's message.

What Sanusi is saying that they need Lagos more than the Niger Delta which means it will be easier to let the Niger Delta go than to let Lagos go. cheesy

Dangote is even planning on building refinery (that is if he has not started building it) in Lagos.
And if Nigeria eventually disintegrate, northerners will fight bloody to take control of lagos if yorubas should try to obstruct them.
Mile 2 saga would be a kids play to compare what would happen then.

That Lagos is a no man's land is not just a mere saying, it's an obvious fact.
Which major tribe can the yorubas make go into hiding in lagos? Absolutely none!!

They will even be the one to deny their heritage in order to save their breath.

Whatever becomes of the Igbos shouldn't be your headache; for Igbos success isn't dependent on crude oil or political posts.

Do you know that during that mile12 crisies, a yoruba man was able to save his life because he could speak hausa that's why he was not killed by the hausas.

This is getting really interesting.

Sanusi's message was actually a coded warning to the Yorubas that they cannot let Lagos go like that.

Igbos dont need Lagos, l rather say Lagos needs Igbos, because I believe it is Igbos that are one of the major contributor to the emergence of Lagos being what it is today.

Early 2015,one yoruba guy replied me here on nairaland by saying that once Biafra secede, that they will declare Oduduwa republic and leave along with us stress-free.

I replied back letting him to know why the north will not allow them to go in the event of Biafra secession.I also made him to understand that if Oduduwa didnt start their own agitation now and go with Biafra,in the future they will have to fight a long, bitter and bloody battles before the north will allow them to go.

Reasons Why The North Will Hold-On To South-West In The Event Of Biafra Secession:

1)ACCESS TO SEA: The north is totally landlock. If SE/SS exit from Nigeria, the
north will rely on only SW for importation of various goods including essential goods like petrolum products.Any attempt to cutoff north's free access of SW seaport will met stiff resistance.

2)YORUBA MUSLIMS: It was the fulanis that gave yorubas islam and also the sultan in Sokoto is the leader of muslims in Nigeria. The sultan sees the muslims in SW as his subjects, any attempt to set up Odua Republic where he will lost control of his loyal subjects in SW will not be tolerated.

3)THE KWARA FACTOR: Will the yorubas in Kwara and Kogi be part of Oduduwa Republic? If yes then yorubas are joking! The fulanis will match blood for blood and fire for fire to retain their conquest of ilorin.

It will be 10 times difficulty for Hausa-Fulani to allow yorubas to go.

A brainless street urchins and his generation of treacherous backstabbers cannot stop the raging IPOB tsunamic movement.
