my hope is positive about dis police recruitment -and i hope urs is positive too, however at dis inspired hour i must bring to d fore certain realities which we must b conscious abt. we must remember d reality of police brutality, extra judicial killings, extortions n character deformation. frm my undergraduate days as an ACON man i understand certain peculiarities associated with police work but i do not accept dem as valid excuses for d above named obnoxious vices. bad company corrupts good manners but a dogged philosophy is a strong defence. pls as many of us dat will eventually become men n officers of d force let us embrace a human face in all our actions, allowing wisdom to guide our decisions....say no to brutality and shameful scandals. God help us all.
