you cannot do that except you ban the media, which will still violate freedom of information. read carefully and you will observe that the guardian was independently in the court covering proceedings and they only reported what they covered. or have you read where a govt official went to their office to report this case?
it's possible to be discreet with the media just like they were able to employ their kids into CBN without the media knowledge

Nigerians are like the children of Israel that would prefer the cucumber of Egypt in slavery than the pains of crossing the desert into the promised land! It is amazing that they are comparing the corrupt, wicked and wasteful Jonathan government to the current methodical, focused and pragmatic Buhari's administration!! If only Jonathan had built additional refineries during his 6 years of dollar rain, we will not be committing over 30% of our lean forex resources to importation of petroleum products now!!! The forex would have been available for manufacturers to do good business and create jobs. I feel sorry for our people who would not appreciate God for bringing Buhari to salvage this country! Imagine Dame Patience Jonathan claiming ownership of $31 million! How did she come about it? Nigerians, think deeply o!

Nope, Im a blessing to them, my country, and have even been a blessing to your useless country. Any time this govt exposes their failure, the newspapers as usual come out with their media trial.
Then later we begin to see and hear different versions of the same story.it is the court that will decide her.....

So why are you complaining about poverty when you're encouraging everyone to steal money meant for the country's development?

You Nigerian are mostly insane, to tell you the truth. A lot of you have serious mental issues. Thats the only explanation I can think of when bad is no longer bad--- but good--- in you animals' eyes.

That doesn't give answers to my question. I ask again what are your economic policies? Where and how did Tinubu, Amarchi, Fashola,...... and the list continues even your Mr. President that has no educational background nor a certificate made their money from? And why are they not in court?
I most tell you the truth, that it was a mistake that we have made to put the affairs of this Nation in the hands of Zombies that are making themselves richer.

I weep for the idiots who support these looters. They stole your yesterday, today and tomorrow, yet you could defend them and even shamelessly declare "bring back corruption" just because you no longer have free easy money!

Where did she get $31 million dollars from? Why was the money kept in other people's account if not stolen? Jonathan was a calamitous curse to Nigeria. Thank God we booted the Ineffectual Buffoon out. cheesy cheesy

http://guardian.ng/news/patience-jonathan-tells-court-frozen-account-belongs-to-her/

I was initially interested in reading the post so I click on it...but to my disappointment it was posted by a senior general of Zombies so I immediately lost interest, PassingShot has nothing to say about how his hero Buhari is leading Nigeria into recession for the second time in our history as a nation and on both occasions of the two recessions Buhari is in power...this is not a mistake but a curse. Anyone supporting Buhari is responsible for the hunger in the land.

I hope people don't make the same mistake in voting for Buhari come 2019 else we will be heading into the third recessions in our history under his stewardship...a word is enough for the wise.

Please no more distraction from pressing issues. War against corruption should be taken away from media and let us only hear of the songs of victory. Do your investigation on the background and prosecute them then tell us. The issue now is everything is Nigeria is falling and failing except hunger and poverty which gbs been on the rise.
Rubbish! So the Guardian is now owned by the EFCC and accompanies the anti graft body to the court? If the EFCC or any law enforcing agency tries to prevent proceedings from being covered by the press you'll say the media are being gagged.

How would you explain the fact that on both occasions that Nigeria found herself in recessions was under one man called Buhari? He is the only Nigerian President dead or alive that has achieved this disgraceful feat.

http://www.elombah.com/index.php/opinion/10007-muhammadu-buhari-recession-it-s-1984-all-over-again

If you blame Jonathan or PDP for 2016 recession under Buhari, who would you blame for 1984 Recession under the same man Buhari? If you want Nigeria to witness a hatrick of recession then vote for Buhari in 2019 and watch your generation die of hunger.

mate let it be known that I don't support any political party but made a choice between the two front running candidates in the last election. This government isn't doing nor performing up to standard but that doesn't mean that the last administration is free from the huge corrupt charges hanging around it. Jonathan with help of friends killed this nation but this administration shouldn't use that as excuse to perform below expectation

No government is perfect not even Obamas!!!

Am not a jonathan fan at all but hey how about OBJ who forced him on us OR the north who forced OBJ on us OR babangida who cancelled June 12 elections of Buhari toppled a democratically elected government......

Think bro!

I AM HAPPY SHE SAID THE MONEY BELONGS TO HER, AT LEAST SHE SAID THE TRUTH. LET US NOT DECEIVE OURSELVES, I DOUBT IF THERE IS NO CORRUPT POLITICIAN/WIFE IN NIGERIA. TELL THEM ALL TO COME AND SWEAR BY THE BIBLE/QURAN IF THEY DIDN'T TOUCH PUBLIC FUNDS WHEN THEY ARE IN OFFICE. EVEN THIS BUHARI GOVT, ARE PEOPLE STILL NOT STEALING PUBLIC FUNDS UNDER HIM. CORRUPTION COMES IN MANY FACET, THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE THAT HAVE SKYROCKETED, IS IT NOT DUE TO ACTIVITIES OF PEOPLE UNDER THIS GOVT? THE MONEY BUHARI WIFE AND DAUGHTERS ARE SPENDING TO TRAVEL ABROAD EITHER FOR VISIT/SCHOOLING, WAS IT BUDGETED FOR IN THE NIGERIAN BUDGET OR IS IT FROM BUHARI'S PENSION/SALARY?

WHAT OF THE CAMPAIGN FUND OF APC THAT WAS TAKEN FROM RIVERS, EKITI AND OSUN STATE PURSE. CAN AMAECHI, TINUBU AND FASHOLA SWEARS THAT THEY DIDN'T STEAL FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE STATES?

StOla:
A Rivers state civil servant and absentee permanent secretary of Bayelsa state owning $30m.

This could have only happened with the way Jonathan grew the Nigerian economy by depleting the bulky foreign reserves he inherited.

Jonathan was quoted as saying he made many people millionaires and billionaires.

Dasuki
Alex Badeh
AVM Amosu
Olisa Metuh
Jide Omokore
Kola Aluko
Patience Jonathan
Emeka Offor
Tompolo
point of correction, Jide omokore was already a millionaire b4 GEJ became president. that doesnt mean he he didnt patake in last administrations looting, FYI, Omokore made his money through Buharis friend and confidant Gen. Sani Abacha.
