cayordey007:hmm nawa oo.that means they were convinced about ur uncle sponsoring you.do u have same surname with ur uncle? What documents did you use to prove relationship with him? cos I'm interested in using external sponsor though unrelated but claiming him as an uncle if offered Masters admission Your personal assets; Did you add ur employment docs, payslip,ur SOA and no academic gap? Since "current employment situation" wasn't ticked there, there is likelihood they saw progression in ur intended program. purpose of visit get accomplices like i stated earlier. To me Canadian embassy of ACCRA to be precise is inefficient.i can halsen ur application was a good one but the VO just fabricated a reason to discard it. 1 Like |

cayordey007: What is the content of the employment letter you submit? Did your employer or any of your documents state you are among the heir of the company? |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by mryoung16: 4:26pm On Sep 11, 2016 |
michV: @michv, i think Australia Immigration only require an account number that shows the same surname with the applicants, I stand to be corrected though. |

mryoung16: It varies as online exchange rate will be determined by the bank you are using. Stanbic and GTB are the most affordable. A Nairalander who applied sometime last week says it cost him 69k NGN (not CAD oo) using GTB. |

mryoung16:see the truth is 85.7% of pgc(d) refusals are just mere make-up excuses to discard the application. It's obvious we don't seem credible in the presence |

michV: Exactly, I had third class in my bsc, at it stands now, I can't go for another bsc program bcus the vo might see it as if am desperate, or either msc because of my grade, have actually requested for my Gcms, once it arrives, I will try all my best to work on the problem and reapply for the last time, if that doesn't work, will seek for my tuition back and try other countries. |

mryoung16:this reminds me of an active Nairalander on this Canada thread, moniker @ Kriss77 .when he was refused on dec 2015 as he narrated,on January 2016 he resubmitted all thesame documents even without ordering his GCMS note cos he felt he did present a perfect app as it seems to him and applicable to his case.Come april/may he was granted his TRV for PGD program at George brown college. This implies that most of our apps for PGC(d) are being gambled with, especially during rush and heavy applications like this Fall2016 which ordinarily would have been approved when they have less busy period and time.same happened to moniker @ igwenusa and he reapplied in January and got it in his second try. 2 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 7:30pm On Sep 11, 2016 |
pepe4reps:bros!!! I can't attest to this,i guess you'v been witnessing the massive refusals of most pgc(d) applicants, after 14 to 18 weeks long wait.diploma program seems below BSC.you can try ur luck with them if your purpose of such visit for the intending program appears convincing to them. but being factual, this can hardly sail through 1 Like |

michV: Well , nice one there, sounds very motivational, to me I see it as a challenge and am doing it for last time, i even defered my admission to May 2017 at least to give them time to do thier forever work, probably 25weeks lol, hopefully it may fly this time by the grace. |

abnice2004:, I came out with 2.14 and couldn't find any masters programme, I advice you to go for PGD program though we have not been favoured for a while now but she can still try, just package her application very well and let's see. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by aliACCA: 8:05pm On Sep 11, 2016 |
i was denied few weeks back and CIC ticked this reasons on my refusal letter: Pursuant to Section 219 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulation, I am not satisfied that you: 1.have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition feesfor the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue 2.have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourselfand any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study. i was my mom's step sis as my sponsor though i didnt show proof of relations because of a fire incident that destroyed documents like birth certificates. i have now decided to use my mom as my sponsor and went ahead to open a current account on her behalf just last week. its my plan to build up her account and use in march for my application. Will this raise an eyebrow since the business is totally informal and not registered. i have request for my gcms file as well but want the gurus in the house to help regarding this next hurdle. @michv @thesoj @team12 @lawmerchant @justwise @arcayo and all and sundry. thanks |
