tbaba1234:If he moves up the ladder to a better league, this guy will beast out. Sometimes, training with better players, better facilities, training methods, physio and living in a decent city helps athletes make the leap and become better. Chikeluba is the sort of player these little indices will improve. This guy is like a diamond in the rough. Thanks for uploading this video by the way, I enjoyed every bit of it. 3 Likes |

zicky:i really want him to do better, to kick asss, he's the first Nigerian footballer I've actually watched from scratch, so it's a lot like wanting your child to conquer the world I was 11 when Mikel's set were at the U20, don't remember much of him and i was largely unaware of his dealings post-U20 until 2009 or so, but this boy, I follow news of him like a moth follows flame. I'm a huge supporter 3 Likes |

BascoVanVeli: Of which team? How does Sterling tick the boxes of what I explained of Iheanacho? |

TheGoodJoe:The rule states that to be a home grown player you must played in the country, which in his case is England three years before your eighteenth birthday. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 2:33am On Sep 13, 2016 |
DrinkWater10: Currently, to be classified as homegrown one must be on an English team for at least three years before the age of twenty-one https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homegrown_Player_Rule_(England) I already stated in the earlier article that Iheanacho becomes a full home-grown player by the end of this season. |

DrinkWater10: Guardiola warned us against Monchengladbach. He met them four times in the last two seasons and he did not win one. Monchengladbach Won twice and they drew twice. So it is very tricky. Thanks for the congrats. Do not Forget to send the e-wine. |

TheGoodJoe:To be honest the first thirty minutes of that game was an eye sore, from a united point of view. City were just unplayable. Mou should stop playing Pogba in a two man midfield like descamps did in the euros.Allegri and Conte never did so. Clattenburg should have red carded Bravo for his two footed lunge though. DrinkWater10: Bailly had no place on the field after he fouled Otamendi from behind in the box when Otamendi was to score. Even. As for Pogba, he was a beast in that game. Unlike many, I was impressed with his force. Sad Mourinho is not using him to the best of his abilities. With more freedom and protection at the back, Pogba will easily be one of the deadliest players in football. He has the strength, speed, skills and shots to perform highly. That defensive role is catastrophic for such a talent. It limits Pogba too much. I was also impressed with the speed, marking and tackling of Bailly. Shocked the Ivorians have such a brilliant defender. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: That was the selling point for Sterling going to Man city, to play with top players and for a top coach, same as wat u said about Iheanacho. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 7:47am On Sep 13, 2016 |
TheSuperNerd:That was my point, Sterling actually came through the youth ranks at QPR. Once a player is playing regular epl matches that player is no longer an academy player. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 8:02am On Sep 13, 2016 |
Okay... I see. Well, Nacho isn't 21 yet shaa as regards the home-grown players rule which I think TheGoodJoe was trying to explain. Sterling is 21 going on 22.... I think. BascoVanVeli: |

Mickael2:yes wonderful but what about the 8 or so years he spent at QPR? Yes it works for homegrown player rules but does that mean he is a youth product of liverpool? I think in that case the credit goes to QPR, I see youth product as players who had been with the cub since a kid. A player like Iwobi can be considered a true youth product. Iheanacho could easily have been loaned out when he got there, Man city didn't want to loan him. Look at Kelechi Nwakali who is already on loan. My point is although technically Iheanacho is a Man City youth product, in fact he really isn't. If they produced Iheanacho let them produce another one and then i'll be a believer. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 9:54am On Sep 13, 2016 |
BascoVanVeli: So you did not see the part I wrote about Manchester City pushing Iheanacho from the City Football Academy to the senior team. All you saw was playing with senior players. Haba. Liverpool established Sterling as a Senior player. Manchester City did that for Iheanacho. 1 Like |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 9:58am On Sep 13, 2016 |
BascoVanVeli: Your mixing academy of training a small boy in understanding the game to youth product in preparing a young player, teenager, for senior team football. It takes risk to push a young player into the senior team. It takes a lot of coaching and preparation. It takes the senior manager showing faith. Training a player in the academy is the easy part. Throwing that player in big games is the JAMB QUESTION. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: LOL. Our youth product, Dennis Suarez is playing for Barcelona. I will give you four names to watch out for in the near future. Angelino, Maffeo, Adarabioyo and Mini Messi Brahim Diaz. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:20am On Sep 13, 2016 |
BascoVanVeli: Very easy to tell. Who gave them a debut at Senior level? That will tell you the club they are a youth product of. Pogba = Manchester United. Sad he did not stay to learn under Paul Scholes. A season of two with Paul Scholes would have made him top notch. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:25am On Sep 13, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe: Really! So how many times did Suarez play for ur first team? So now u are claiming players without giving them JAMB abi? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:36am On Sep 13, 2016 |
BascoVanVeli: We prepared him for senior team football and gave him his debut. He was Manchester City's young player of the year. Clap for us. We did good there. Sad that he wanted to go back to Spain because of Personal reasons. Many tipped him as Silva's replacement. I suspect one chick wanted him in Spain. Umu Nwanyis (young girls). |
