Well, people recommend Bio oil but I don't know if it works. During my pregnancy, I used a blend of cocoa, shea butter and coconut oil and I got no stretchmarks. As for making one dark, it tends to tan the skin a bit but not noticeably darker.

Been trying to talk DH into contraceptive,the guy no wan gree,he is also saying it has side effect that we should do withdrawal and calendar. Been thinking of going ahead to do it on my own( I know it's wrong, I need my DH's consent )but I don't want stories that touch ,cos if I get pregnant before am ready I will just start running,and when am tired I will rest small and continue running .

Dexterush, calendar and withdrawal is how I got pregnant, just saying . Have you tried maybe both of you go to the Gynae together and listen to what the doctor has to say? Sometimes it helps the man understand better what will happen. But if you are going to use calendar, maybe learn Billings or Schiller method. I heard they are very effective.

I lost mine because I put on weight and felt ugly, tired and confused. The trick is your mental game: whatever makes you happy beforehand, do it.

Do you know I have Palm kernel oil and I'm not sure if its use? I know it can stain clothes though. So if you use it, maybe don't dress immediately.

I have something unknown against withdrawal method I like being too carried away with kpekusing to be thinking of withdrawal....That's why I dragged DH to the Gynae for total understanding of IUD before I had it inserted.... Glad I did and its bin very good on me. I even forget I have anything inserted down there.

Uda is an Igbo name for this long pepper soup spices (I don't know the English name, pics below)....Some mamas swear by it as a natural contraceptive.

hmm,kpekus resumed 7 mths postpartum reason being that my stitch came off twice so my gynae adviced us to wait till 6mths meanwhile my libido had skyrocketed ,it was hell. i really doff my hat for himself cos he tried and he has this very soft heart.
the day we clocked six mths after the 2nd itch,I pounced on him e no easy mehn the guy was so scared, well the good thing is it has become tighter than before and the ministry is progressing lol.
No contraceptive,D's just clocked one on 9/9/16 and a sibling is on the way after 11 mths.
QUESTIOn:what causes this libido increase cos sometimes it gets embarrasing

I have used calendar method effectively.until one hot sunday afternoon.i was carried away sugar bin dey inside i refuse to let go.the result was my sugar princess.kikikiki.

Speak to ur doctors n midwives o!.me i have serious phobia for any oyibo contraceptive. We use CD sometimes dou.i hate dt stuff.we rather hold body for all my unsafe days instead.

Breastfeeding worked just fine for me as a contraceptive. We gave it a shot at 8 months post delivery say anyhow anyhow if belle enter fine, if not na fire dey go and it worked. We continued like that till I weaned my LO at 14 months.


I only did this because my mum told me that all the women from my dad's side never got pregnant while breastfeeding and I decided to try it too. I got pregnant again the week after I stopped breastfeeding. Before then we used condoms/withdrawal method because of fear fear.

I resumed kpekus 2 month pp, we ave been on withdrawal method since then, its really working for us because my hubby na expert but to me na sufferness, and he will not even come back for another round, na till 2 weeks or one month after. I told him to get CD he refused, I don't know how to tell him that am not always satisfied cos of shame (he can use it to joke me). I dey shame self to tell am say I need am make he no go tag me onisekuse. And he is not a womanizer o.

Since my baby now refuse to take pap, and I discovered he likes soup very well. What I did was to make the pap in solid form like semo/wheat, add ewedu or Ogbono, he eats like say tomorrow no dey. Another thing I did was that, I bought Rice for tuwo (that pure white rice) grinded it into mill, prepared it like semo for him with soup or I make it like pap and add his milk (yummy).

Resumed kpekus 3months + pp, dh was able to enter the place after the 3rd attempt. The 1st & 2nd time we tried 3months pp, he couldn't go pass the gate, he was terrified cos I was crying, the pain was much, I wan manage but our sunshine started shaking body +crying from her sleep(both times), we just jejely compose and slept. The 3rd time was not planned, after using orishi-rishi dyi lubes(coconut oil,Shea butter,Vaseline, olive oil(Jesus Biko forgive me) , we succeeded. I stopped kpekusing 2months before delivery. We plan to use withdrawal/condoms...any which way. Anti flow came 3months pp too....I vex ehn....dh just dey Laff mi.

Washing machine at 60 degrees cleans out palm kernel oil stain.
