99 percent of comment did not talk about the effect, cause or anything sensible about this issue. Firstly I feel the amount of dams built on this river should be checked cause it affects it's flow. then the level of irrigation right from its upper course should be controlled too. River Niger is very important to Nigeria because a lot of people make their livelihood from the river either fishing, farming, power generation and so many more. apart from that it contributes to our underground water too and it's always a very important landmark for Nigeria. 1 Like |
