Wateva happened to enviromental impact assessment b4 construction even begins. If realy check u will find out dat natural route of dis water was probably blocked due to construction work all just because govt on sit want to score cheap points in development at the expense of the pple. And its new route was not properly channelled, and wen d rains came down and d floods went up, we got dis. God will judge all our governors who do dis. It is well |

Firstly, you do not know that an EIA was not conducted. Secondly, even EIAs are not definite. Risk is never zero. What you should know is this is an environmental problem that third world countries are finding hard to cope with especially with rising sea level and higher rainfall.
