He is the cause of the frustration & should equally bear the brunt. What a wicked man who does not care if people are starving & dying! Those Nigerians that sent out a true democrat with human feelings and brought in a sadistic & ruthless tyrant, deserve the frustration & suffering they are passing true. You can plant cocoyam and expect to harvest rice.

GEJ is not a Democrat and his actions and inactions are a great calamity on Nigerians like the many before him.

Buhari can and should be doing better however I can't fault him for not trying; Nigerians are just not being ultimately realistic.

There is a recession and it has never been known to be easy during a recession.

But come to think of it.. If last administration is responsible for our ordeal and misfortune, Are they the one responsible for APC and Buhari not to fulfil their campaign promises as well? Cos i don't just get it.. Fulfil Your electioneering campaign promises is all we ask for.

I now regret ever calling GEJ's government 'Incompetence' and 'Clueless'.

Sometimes i wonder if Buhari is a way God wants to punish Nigeria for our sins and disobedient.
Even if Buhari don't see us as human, he should at least see us cow and care for us as much as he cares for his cows.

I love your post, it makes total sense

Leadership need critical reasoning and creative measure nt jst any body dat come out with pseudo promises and cups of rice that u entrust ur future into such a person hands without proper research abt d person's moral values and vision

The country was already destroyed before he got there. He just happened to be the person in charge before the last fall.

The cry should be towards the people who stashed money in their maids and drivers bank accounts.

CNN should STFU; they did a lot of propaganda for APC in 2015 and are complaining because American companies in Nigeria are also facing the Forex crisis and recession here.

Couldn't have said it better. This is simply the truth about what happened. Economics 101. PERCEPTION IS EVERYTHING. This government created a picture of crises when there was yet one. It hyped the problems of the past administration and shot itself in the foot with negative propaganda when the world over government is a continuum. We met nothing, et.al. The government successfully demarketed Nigeria and now they turn back to wonder what hit them. No experienced hands to call for caution in the corridors of power and to shut their loquacious lips. This is the result. I hope leaders and administrations in future will learn where to draw the line between government and politics and clearly define where one ends and the other starts. We are new to this so all sins will be forgiven but we have to pay the penalty... together.

The need for us to change is being over-emphasised by Pres. Buhari. His handlers should educate him that it is Nigerians first and heroic demonstration of change that returned him to power after several years of his failed attempts. Pres. Buhari's change begins with me now is ill-thought and ill-timed. It is your turn to change sir! Change the fleet of Presidential aircraft et al! Change the usual practice of presidents embarking on resultless, frequent, frivolous foreign trips! Change from your history of plunging the nations economy into recession! Change from employing old and tactless elders at the helms of affairs! Change from blaming previous governments for Nigeria's woes! Change and act fast!
