Omeny: lol.... mumu. If Igbos remain in the SW after Biafra, they will be chased off the way they were chased off in 1967 and they started coming back in the 1970's. That is why common sense is not common on this forum. Children everywhere. Which other tribe carry Igbo matter for head except Igbo? . If you are not Igbo ten what are you? Igbo? 4 Likes |

Omeny: yorubas will marry your igbo daughters and give igbos their yoruba daughters so that igbos can stay and yorubas will increase tax on non-indigenes... since igbos like SW they will have no choice but to pay tax Biafra favors the SW... because igbos will automatically become foreigners 4 Likes |

NICENEDU29: It does not give them any edge... igbos go where they consider safe... As long as igbos pay tax wherever they travel to they are only increasing the revenue of that place and it does not give them any advantage because their hometowns need the tax more than those places... |

Igbos are industrous, dey work hard, dey earn dier living by working hard, dey d true definition of humans. "Go into d world, dominate!" Dat's d inherent psychology of every igbo man. Igbos dnt stay in dier land anymore 2 bussle cos dey got most competitor igbo brodas who hussle hard. Dey find solace in yoruba land who mostly re lazy and wld settle 4 less(answering and lying down 4 one baba wen don get money Sir). So wen igbos see opportunities wasting in d so called yoruba land, dey optimise it and d lazy yorubas seeing dem thrive would cum wailing. I av been 2 yoruba land, believe u me, it's only Lagos dt I ve seen dat I can decide 2 stay in becos igbos ofcourse are buying up d available land. If na Drug igbos go push, if na peace igbos love, if na book igbos go still read pass. It's jas d spirit of movement dt mks it easier 4 dem 2 develop and become more wise. Yorubas shld start leaving d confines of r lands and start thinking as yorubas(usinf deir ingenuity 2 catch d opportunities a typical igbo man cannot see becos of d constrains of nature around him. And stop being bitter 2 d success of igbos. 4 Likes |

musicwriter: All this nations are sovereign and their people did not see the colonising language as superior as Africans do. The examples used above can only applied to the Igbo language if the populace is willing to switch to being Igbo language based instead of the mixture being used now. What I'm saying is that from observation I can see many Igbo parents don't even want their kids speaking Igbo let alone learning in it or being their main mode of communication. A Japanese would never refer to a Japanese person that cannot speak English as illiterate, whereas that is the norm in Nigeria, although in the past Chinese was the equivalent of a colonising language for Japanese speakers because that was the language of education, but they never let go of Japanese. 2 Likes |

musicwriter: Ban English? That would be disastrous to them. Chinese people are killing themselves to learn English/French ans one Knucklehead wants to throw that away? What I advocate for is for the local language be the language of instruction in PRIMARY school, since then, their brains are still soft and they can learn, (they should have English teachers too, but the language of instruction should be in the local language, then at secondary and university level, then it can be English, that way, a child will be able to read and write in BOTH English and an African Language. We need to be strategic 1 Like 1 Share |

Drchristian: I dont get why and what we should be grateful to you for,you are Nigerian, igbos are Nigerians carrying out their citizenry rights. You probably aren't in your place of origin but place of birth. And i dont understand how you'd accrue credit to yourself for other people living and integreting into your regional culture,if anything,it is the igbos who are social, accomodating, industriously productive hence being in fusion with other ethnicities. You probably speak only yoruba and dont travel out, how are you more Nigerian than the igbos who perhaps speak more than 4 languages on average as a testament to their strength in linguistic intelligence thus the diversification of ethnic assimilation unlike you,who can't speak nor understand neighbouring itsekiri and choose to manufacture an imaginary title as "the most accomodating".... Actually, the question is when will you start being more Nigerian and less Yoruba. In a broader sense you are the most bigoted tribal group of people but you have no idea. 9 Likes 1 Share |
