Hello Guys,

It's actually been a while since i posted anything or checked this forum been busy with trying to settle down and get things done here in a new environment like Canada. For those who got delayed, there is one message I have for you all, Canada is worth the hype and I can tell you that the land mass is very wide and equal opportunity for everyone once you are here. There are lots of Chinese here followed by Indians, well the reason for this I don't know even my class has a larger population of Indians and Chinese than others although they try to be multi-racial and inclusive. Don't give up guys and I heard the Prime Minister is a great guy (Justin Trudeau) who replaced Harper. I don't know who I am cheering p or inspiring with this but giving up is accepting defeat but failing and re-trying though it's hard but is looking for other ways to get the job done and the joy of success is...........

Hello Guyz, CIC just got back to me...................MY APPLICATION WAS REFUSED.

Reasons ticked:
1) Purpose of visit
2) Current Employment situation.

I will request for my GCMS file...............but seriously, i am surprised they ticked those 2 reasons. shocked shocked

I am work in one of the big four professional service firm, My course (PGC-Fraud examination and Forensic Accounting) is directly related to my job (External auditor for 3 years, Forensic auditor for a year). i am a highflyer. i attached my last promotion letter............i was promoted on the scale of exceeding expectation (EE). I drafted a detailed and convincing SOP.

My company even wrote a letter stating that i am going to canada to study.

I will update this forum on the documents i submitted (quite much), when i get back to lagos.
.My biggest constraint is Time.

Austria, Netherland, Finland, Australia, Norway, Thailand, Indonesia. diz ar destinations where one can still study n have future. but in all, Australia or Austria n Norway ar better. I am afraid if I will Go Canada route again. d whole fin from start is so unnecessarily frustrating...16 weeks. plus pausing ur life's progression n financial activities for ages. and d guys at CIC behave like d take Indian Hemp. in fact those guys ar hypnotised sadists.

Sorry about your refusal, sometimes Canada refuse applicant because they believe you level is already above the certificate course you are going for and they do not see it as a progression or that it will improve your career with the years of experience you already have in that field, that is why they mention Current Employment situation along with purpose of visit.

M.SC will be ideal for you

Finland is a very good place to study ,International students didnt have to pay tuition until the government brought about a new law around july that international students have to pay tuition from fall 2017 , and after graduation you can apply for one year residence permit which is sure you'll get (google for clarification) , the only downside to me tho is the language barrier.

My application was refused today..

Reasons are:

Purpose of visit
Current employment situation

Note: My program is related to my first degree and current job. i have 4 years work experience. Self sponsored and my elder sister as co-sponsor

I was even thinking funds would be the issue.

How do i resolve this please for my next application?

Thanks
