The exercise was actually quite transparent. The selection board was chaired by a Major General. There was an aptitude test after the screening of credentials. Candidates who were found wanting at the end of each stage were marched out of the camp.
My heartbreak came during the medical review. The Doctor (a Lt. Col.) got angry with me when I insisted that my height was 1.68 as one Lieutenant was taking a wrong reading of 1.67. He got even more furious when he discovered my tribe. The next thing I knew, he wrote pile and flat foot in my medical report. Of course I have neither pile nor flat foot. That is how I was disqualified. I am yet to fully recover from the disappointment.

Very sad. Take heart man.

Its truth. The work in Akaso is almost complete 80% done. The list will b out soon.
