Northwest states are:

Sokoto

Kaduna

Kano

Jigawa

Zamfara

Kebbi

Katsina

Atleast an average Nigerian like Kaduna states.

About the issue of States to choose.. You never can tell which combination NYSC will use this time around. Last 2 batch b15, it was 3 choices, got our batch it's 4. yours might be different..

My advice is this, select 1 state each from each zone.. make your research. so, whatever NYSC throws st you, you are ready for them.
