God done pick her call...congrats to her.

I will like to ask Seun and all Mods why I as a Christian can not comment on Islamic topics in this forum unless I accept Islam by clicking yes to the Islamic quote that Allah is the only true God and Mohammed is his messenger. And if you click "No" you are not permitted to comment.

Why are Muslims free to comment in topics posted on Sundays about Christianity without questions or any bible quote requesting them to say yes to be Christians but I don't enjoy same privilege as a Christian.
I just wanted to comment on the topic about the American who performed Hajj and Seun wanted me to accept am a Muslim to comment.

Seun why this discrimination? I just need to know.

The reason is that Oga Seun, Lala and the mods are Muslims and they are propagating Islam and at the same time defending Islam. tongue

Watch them ban me without congent reasons from now henceforth cheesy

I dont get what all the fuss about this lady is, it seems our bar for celebrating people in Nigeria is 'very low', she didnt discover the cure for any of Nigerias 'many' problems so why should we declare a public holiday in her honour. It is not as if she is doing charity work or helping the society in any way, she is simply doing what she likes and 'getting paid'.......FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, WE HAVE SOLDIERS UP NORTH SACRIFICING THEIR LIVES EVERYDAY FOR OUR SAFETY AND WE DECIDE TO SHINE SPOTLIGHT ON A LADY TYRING TO GET PAID!!!?? THE OTHER DAY ON NAIRALAND I SAW PICTURES OF SOLDIERS OBSERVING EID PRAYER IN BORNO AND A "FEMALE" SOLDIER WAS AMONG THEM, NOBODY SAID ANYTHING ABOUT A "WOMAN" RISKING HER LIFE FOR THE COUNTRY BUT IF IT IS A "BREADSELLER, MECHANIC OR WOMAN DOING SOMETHING WE SEE AS 'STRANGE" IT WILL MAKE HEADLINES. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COUNTRY WITH MORE MISPLACED PRIORITIES THAN NIGERIA!!!
Hey
Whats your problem. ?

When a man hasn't experienced misfortune nor become less priviledged, he thinks all men eat thrice a day and live happy lives.
The same military you mentioned are never overlooked when it comes to praises, especially when their pictures are posted.
Maybe you need more of a memory reset and priority check.

Oh and I guess we shouldn't praise our paralympians who are making us proud over there in Brazil because they're paid?

If you love yourself, just say a big Amen to this prayer and don't reply anyhow:

May God never let you experience hardship and may you receive [common] sense in double fold, in Jesus' name!!!

hmmmmm........Tears roll down my eyes as i remembered My elder cousin ( 27 yrs old as at 2004 ) who became the first Mercedes Benz mechanic of my state far back 1997. she appeared in the newspapers quite alright. when she was interviewed of her parental upbringing, she blatantly said she has no father, he died long time ago... meanwhile her dad ( who lives with us including her) was the one who saw the beautiful damsel's photo on the front page of a newspaper which with great joy pleaded to buy it at any amount stipulated by the vendors, in a hurry he drove back happily to show everybody without reading it. when we all read it and saw the caption that she has no father, my uncle almost fainted.... me weh small ( about to write my common entrance exam) just watched in 3d... everybody was waiting for her to return home that day.
..
to cut the story short, she is 12 yrs old beyond.
..

congratulations anyway to the original post

You might call it bad belle...But I still don't see any sense in doing good and taking pictures as if they are for political purpose.
'Kiss and Tell'
I know of a man who bought a Transformer for her mum's street, do their road and gutters, sponsored more than 15 diff ppl from same street in higher Inst (Uni & Poly), uses his influence to get them jobs and some overseas, among other things. No one sings his praises all over d media, he's not even a politician, he's just blessed and he keeps blessing ppl and till date the blessing still follows him and his children.

Young man chill.... So the soldiers u mentioned, where dey forced to join the military? Are they in the military for free? Ain't they getting paid? For ur info, any soldier u c, is doing wat he/she likes n getting paid. This is Nigeria and not some 1st world country. As such, this is commendable cuz it is a rare venture.
