My concern is that many of us want others to visit the NDDC HQ for them but we are not putting ourselves in their situation. Try to imagine if it was you in PH and be sincere with the house if you will volunteer to go there or not.

I see a lot of selfish statements been made here and I am sorry if I hurt anyone for writing this. I'm just worried that people cannot reach an agreement in a small forum like this. I have been on other forums in nairaland and can tell the difference from my little experience. It leaves a lot of room for doubt if I have to be honest with myself. This is why I have refused to respond to anyone sending me PMs from here because I believe it is for personal gain and not for everyones benefit.

So must it be PH people alone that will sacrifice for the forum? Please do not also forget that there are others who followed the process that are not on this forum. If I may ask, who represents them? That is why we have various means of communication and as long as it is used decently and effectively I do not see any reason why it will cause any harm. Unless we stay together from here we may not get any tangible result. I bet you its possible that some people in this forum have some inside information. Again I am sorry to say that, but this is how we have made our country look.

I think it is very unfair to ask for help that you cannot give. Please feel free to criticize any part of my statement. It is just my opinion, I can be wrong and I am open to correction.

What is wrong by asking people in PH to go to NDDC? I will gladly volunteer to do that if I stay in PH. I don't think there is anything harm going there to inquire.

Sincerely, I don't think there is anything wrong for anyone staying in PH to visit the commission. Truth be told, even within this house, many are afraid and some have inside info and will never come here to tell us. We have to do something before something do us....

Let's just shut the hell up, hope and pray that our names are on the list when it eventually comes out between now & the end of this month. Aii?.

I will like to advice everyone who took part in the interview to contact every political and spiritual strongman that he can connect with because talk on the street is that politicians have hijacked the process and are about filling a new list with their protégés! I may be wrong but my contact's credibility is airtight!

Hotboss, you have a point there..... And interview scores makes up 60%. You strongly have a point there.

Well... I heard the list might drag till the end of the year. It's now a battle of wits and test of will b/w the outgoing and incoming.... The truth is; there isn't anyway to check their activities. The published CBT result in the first place was greatly criticized by powers that be. Where does that happen? It's just a web and unfortunately we are all caught in it one way or another. It's almost a hopeless situation when u r well aware of these ills but not able to do much. So sad. I was at NDDC last week and the impression I took away is that air of fear in everyone I tried to speak to. No one seemed willing to let out the minutest information or in actual sense don't know a thing regarding at least when to expect the list. Then again, a passing statement was that a lot of people did well on the interview, nobody really failed meaning that the CBT result we have access to might still serve as a weak indicator. Am not sure how this would help but what can I say or do? Just to be hopeful.

BrOs I totally disagree with you. You are actually sounding like the opposite of what we intend or feel we should do here. Read your epistle and even u would smell protest which is the notion no one wants to give here. Did u imagine how it will sound if u were asked where u came from on ur visit to the HQ and 1 says benin, the other says ondo and another says Akb, that wld be a protest, cos coming all that far only to inquire is senseless. If u went thru the thread well u wld see wat was suggested is that those already in PH should only go on a less Official setting. C'mon... I don't even really get ur point. Aside that i know some people like u said are selfish with info. Then about others not in the forum. Wat do u want us to do, go and advertise on tv that all nddc scholars should join the forum on nairaland. i know some people not here, and sometimes they call me to ask how far, and I tell them anytin I know or got from here that I feel may be valid. I totally concur with this. Please all prospective scholars. Just make sure u mention nddc in your prayers everyday... Lol. I tink we all already even do that before self... Buh just make ttry to always pray that they shouldn't forget us or think of cancelling the scheme, Recession or no recession... Cos this one we are all complaining about delay, I think thats even the wrong thing to be bothered about now self. We should be praying that the devil shouldn't make out batch be the badluck batch... Cos if God doesn't help us.... i reserve my comments... Well I know God will.... Can't wait to shake some goods hands during briefing

Please everyone should be calm the past few weeks have been filled with anxiety but all the same that shouldnt stop us from continuous prayers, maybe only maybe so people are just waiting to hear something from an official in NDDC but havnt got it yet, just as one of us said; that he visited and got no meaningful info, so we shouldnt start pointing fingers due to our frustration and anxiety. we should try to still stay positive despite the current situation. thanks

Some propective scholars have taken to their twitter handle to demand EFCC to investigate NDDC scholarship scheme. This is absolutely a move in the wrong direction. I did advice all here to defer their admission to next academic session. Until we have been awarded the scholarship, we cant be NDDC scholars. For now we are mere applicants. Let us wait and pray before we take to the social media. My opinion.

Whoever resorted to twitter and EFCC is completely senseless! It has been reiterated here time without number that we don't have the right to push NDDC to release the list rather it would be a privilege to be given the award especially in the current economic state of the country. If you're one of those impatient people please don't spoil the show for those of us who clearly understand that the battle is best fought on our knees.

On what grounds are you revolting when you're not yet a scholar? It's a shame that you think we want the scheme to be cancelled; as always you've missed the point and you should wake up indeed!
