Spiritual things can only be understood by the spiritual, A carnal mind, an ordinary man and sense knowledge will find it very difficult to believe. In the kingdom of God, the Anchor principle is LOVE, which cannot be demonstrated without a sacrifice. A kingdom minded person is not mastered by anything, anything can be given. In the kingdom of the world, it is all about survival of the fittest and selfishness. The kingdom of God says, give and it shall be given back to you( Luke 6:38) meaning the more you give, the more you have, this is a mystery that a sense knowledge cannot take. The kingdom of the world says, save your money to have more. But sincerely speaking I have applied the kingdom of God's principle and it has worked for me so many times. The kind of things we want to do in this world, whether to help people, support our families or last long at the top, I think savings cannot do it alone, we also need to employ the instrumentality of a divine principle which is giving to support the work of God (I kings 17:8-16 & Philippians 4:14-19) It will be difficult for sense knowledge to take this. Accept Jesus today and switch to the heavenly kingdom and watch your life move from a level to levels. 1 Like |

Christians donot experience recession. Recession is a territorial thing and Christians operate an independent insulated economy. If a person who calls himself a Christian is experiencing a downturn then such a person is not 'planted in the kingdom of God', such a person is not continually connected to God, such a person does not know God properly or such a person is walking in disobedience and not in His will. God sees tomorrow from today and as a shepherd knows when to move his cattle around the country to look for pasture in dry season and to avoid parasites in rainy season so the God of all knowledge positions 'His sheep' to prosper in all seasons. I am aware some churches, pastors have developed recession bucking programs and missions but what they teach is nothing new but what a Christian should be doing constantly irrespective of times and seasons. There is nothing special about recession and God. Some think He causes these events to get people's attention but once more we can see they are man made catastrophies. However we must be careful to avoid black pastors who will capitalise on the events of sufèring and misery of people to exploit them for personal gain. God is not emotionally driven. He operates by the Word which is constant irrespective of what we do to ourselves. |

Stop praying. That's the only way to survive as a christian in these times. Prayers are for lazy people who don't take ownership, and responsibility, for actions and decision they make. They want someone else to come bail them out. Hence the reason Nigeria has not moved forward in over half a century. It's citizens are praying instead of rolling their sleeves up and getting to work to fix the problems they created. 3 Likes |

The first thing to do in times of recession like this is to CALM DOWN. Then CALM DOWN. And finally, CALM DOWN. After all, it's a general or national problem. It isn't new so don't go about singing about it. Just calm down, cut unnecessary domestic expenses (try to cook and eat at home...saves lots of money), take a fuel efficient car out and avoid unnecessary errands, Do not keep your money in bank. Tie down your money (50k, 100k, 200k) with good projects. As our naira is loosing value on a daily basis. Don't forget the place of prayer, very important. Declare what you want to see. Most of the times, "its not what happens to us a that make or mar us, its how we choose to respond to it. Don't forget to CALM DOWN. |

driveiwe:Bros you are right.....we preach on the topic: "A Good Christian is a Good Citizen" that we should pray for the Nation and leaders, even your bosses...even your landlord.....That for you to be a boss you have to serve under boss, for you to be a landlord you have to respect your landlord.....examples were set on Elisha and Elijah, Aaron and Moses....that even though your boss have 1st degree and you have masters you need to be subject to him for you to be bless....people like Joseph, David, Moses, Jacob, were not eldest in the family but because God bestowed on them to lead |
