I Am In Excruciating Pains Now And Please I Need Your Advice Here.. Chocolateme by chocolateme(f): 8:52pm On Sep 18, 2016
I and my sister's constant climbing on my bed to reach to my handbag's hanger in my own bedroom in the house caused the wooden board under my foam to break into two over many months ago though its hardly noticeable but whenever i lie down to sleep, it feels as if its breaking me into two with my midsection pushing down in the center of the bed while my head and legs stays on normal level.
I have never felt any pain before even for a second, Infact i felt that is a form of exercise to stretch and i was enjoying it.

This morning i woke up to the pains of Africa, can't move at all. Infact eh! My waist is finished, the lower part of my back is hurting so bad, mu younger sister ran out to but Ibuprofen and i took two tablets of 400mg at a go yet my brothers and sisters, nothing. I was told to lie on the bare floor which i did yet if i try to turn right or left i will be screaming off my head.
As it is now, fear is catching up with me because how can someone be having so much unbearable pains like this. Right now, it has reduced to 98% out of 100% since morning. I plan taking that Ibuprofen again but it may still not work.
Abeg is there anyone that has experienced such pains before and what did you do about it? I even tried to stretch backwards while standing, he he! It felt like i have died chai.. please oo make una help..
Tomorrow i will go to the hospital but for now, how can i reduce this pains?Hungerbad where are you guys? Help your fellow

Following the climbing part of the advise is as good as committing suicide.. .its very risky.. .all you need to do is as follows:

Rest. Ceasing activity for a few days allows injured tissue and even nerve roots to begin to heal, which in turn will help relieve lower back pain. However, more than a few days of rest can lead to a weakening of the muscles, and weak muscles have to struggle to adequately support the spine. Patients who do not regularly exercise to build strength and flexibility are more likely to experience recurrent or prolonged lower back pain.

Heat and Ice Packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately

Medications. A wide variety of over-the-counter and prescription medications is available to help reduce lower back pain. Many medications reduce inflammation, which is often a cause of pain, while others work to inhibit the transmission of pain signals from reaching the brain. Each medication has multiple unique risks, possible side effects and drug (or food or supplement) interactions, which need to be evaluated by a physician.

Low Impact Aerobic Exercise. In addition to exercises specific to the lower back, any low impact aerobic exercise, such as walking, is often an ideal exercise for the lower back because it helps bring oxygen to the soft tissues in the back to promote healing. Swimming or water exercise has the same effect and is an excellent option if walking is too painful.

I apologize as I was on a phone call. Read through the comments and I think kaydeeexotic advice is something I would have given.

And please try to exercise even if it's twice a week.

Ibuprofen is good.. .but I'll suggest you go for lofnac plus or cenpain night. ....cenpain night will actually reduce the feeling of the pain and enable you sleep... It'll also be of great advantage if you can put mattress on the floor and use a soft pillow to support your back.. .please don't make the mistake of lying on your chest.. .it will cause more harm than good

Take some pain reliever and turning to the left or right might actually help you to loosen your stiff joints.

sit tnx a lot, i woke up this morning to only 49% out of 100% of the pains but i have no idea of the type of exercise i should do now because i don't want to remain bedridden throughout today and i need this to go away ASAP. I tried so hard not to lie on my Chest and as if you knew, you mentioned it earlier because that is my best and favorite sleeping position. Do what do i do now?

Lol all you need to do for a start is to try and walk round the house twice or thrice...if it's not too convenient, try to sit and do a knee to chest exercise gently.. .im sure one of the two would work perfectly

The pelvis is the centre of a person's gravity. When that bed broke, the centre was lost. The attendant consequence is your midsection that now sinks into the bed for maybe 7 to 8 hours of sleep. It's an anomaly. It's not good for the midsection. The midsection should always be braced-should always be in one piece. That's why it's not good to sleep in bed face up, rather one should lie in bed sideways. And I'm sure you always sleep, either consciously or subconsciously face up.
I broke my pelvis in 2010, but got healed in a month.Never went to hospital.Someone who knew is craft helped me.After that, I've always slept on a hard surface or bed.Ditch your present bed.Get a hard one.Or, sleep on a tiled or rugged floor during the day. And, if it's possible, at night.
Finally, you need NSAID:Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

You're welcome! They include:the ibuprofen you took; fish oil( cod liver oil or flaxseed oil) Take them at least 3 hrs apart. If you still experience the pains, have someone sit on your waist gently. And, when you wake up, sit on the arm of your sofa such that your legs are suspended off the floor, raising your pelvis a bit.
