They should deliberate on how crude oil money which was sold for $15/barrel in the late 90's, by the grace of God, suddenly skyrocketed to above $100 in 2008 and later above $140 as at 2013 with increased average daily output and open illegal bunkering under high crude oil price and the majority of the income stolen. Even under low oil price, debt was paid with excess above $50 billion left in foreign reserve by OBJ. The money above or below $30 billion left by GEJ is the remnant of the reserve OBJ left with over $20 billion already spent. How much did Obj met as debt and how much did he inherit as foreign reserve?

How much did Yar'adua/GEJ saved with $118 - $140 /barrel for so many years before the fall toward the end of 2014, nothing. They were also borrowing money at this period. El-Rufai complained about the reason for borrowing when price of crude oil was increasing, the national assembly that was also benefiting kept quiet. Stella Oduah & Diezani was prevented from facing senate panel with connivance of members and later Judiciary.

During Obj era, Mrs Bolaji Osomo appeared thrice before Senator Okechukwu Obiora led senate committe on Housing for FG houses sold to some PDP members because some senators did not benefit before she was removed. Prof Mrs Nike Grange was removed as Minister over 20million naira gift to national assembly. Openly, Stella Oduah and other cases along the zones were left to die.

The zones have insisted that the colossus robbery witnessed in the last regime should be left like that. Nigerians are complaining of hardship now, they are the most vocal in the public outcry against hardship being witnessed under this regime.

Nigeria needs to be restructured. We need to revisit the issue of Biafra again. Justice cannot be done under this arrangement. It is better to let everybody that wants to leave the federation to leave.

Carrot and stick at the same time can't work and it has never work.

In as far as I don't support destruction, how can u say u are in dialogue and yet deploying army hard-wares and arresting innocent boys in the villages?

Buhari will fight the Niger-Deltans if that is what he's doing and when his time come, surely he will go just like others before him.

The Nigeria govt has for more than 50yrs been exploring Oil and Gas from the Niger-Delta.
Nigeria has made Trillions of Dollars from that Region like FG did Lagos and Abuja, rather, they will say go ask your leaders and one will ask,was it leaders you gave money to when FG was building bridges, roads,Sea and air ports and Sand filling water log areas in lagos and turning a virgin land like Abuja into a modern day city?

This is not funny any longer, president Buhari should swallow his pride and call those boys and dialogue with them, each time an oil facility is blowen up, Nigeria would loose millions of dollars, especailly @ this time of recession.

SO as he is calling one and another group emerge, he should continue ?

Avengers are already negotiating

If it is about the environment, you and your useless government will care less.

It's all about reduction of money getting into the national purse. ..that's the koko.

and after those boys are settled another set of boys rise up and do the same thing, what a vicious cycle, best way out,let states or communities own oil liecence.

This is not news, are you guys not curious , this group are yet to attack any multi national facilities, why? They keep attacking the pipeline belonging to NPDC. This group are not in the same level as avengers, avengers attacked the IOCs but now theyve stopped. The group is seriously looking for attention badly and they won't get it because thier action isn't affecting export which is done by the IOCs.

It is bcoming clearer 2 all that the use of force or the show of it will yield nothing other than continued trouble 4 d already comatose economy. President Buhari nds to come dwn frm his high horse and engage the pple of d niger delta meaningfully by among others kick starting dvlpmnt in that region

restructuring and negotiations are the solid ways to quell the Niger delta issue...

Force would only compound it..i have said this over and over again...

The issues in the Niger delta are fundamental and until it's root cause is attacked nothing can stop this madness..

Then, tell your Buhari to leave the Niger Delta alone and go into fishing in the North East... our land is already polluted by the government oil companies, their is almost no land left to be polluted again.
