The test is probably because of the weight of your lo. Since lo is measuring two weeks ahead. I pray it comes out negative too.

Also call them at the office and let them know what's going, they should understand.

he said my baby that I lost at birth was too big for a ftm so he need to rule out gestational diabetes, I am also overweight but the test came out OK, so don't worry.

I need ur prayers oooooooooooooo cos i can not understand what is happening now. On Saturday me and DH saw dead lizard at least it looks like one with d leg cut we prayed and used oil and mustard seed and this morning we saw another one dis time without head. We did the same. Have been really worried told my mum about and she said we should continue praying and AM BEEN WORRIED SINCE THEN.

You can try Limi Hospital. It's a private hospital and they have a good reputation and the doctors there are professionals. I'm currently registered there for ante natal. 

They are expensive though

Pls o, yetersday ibwas feeling so uncomfortable and all body pain ,feverish and vomiting went to clinic ,was to to do some test which they later detect malaria 2 lines,they said its on a high side,they initially want to admit me but i decline it.so they place me on injection and some drugs BT this particular drugs I sent am not comfortable with it , maybe its because its I didn't met the senior Dr @ hostipal .I want sabi mamas to help me is it save in pregnancy ?

Just pray n praise n know God has taken control.

Thats how i was seeing dead rat in my house at 25 week ish. I dont have rat nor used rat poison.

It was later i realised that the little girl that spent 10days with me always opened my door when i am out.

My neighbour then said she used rat poison but didnt find any dead rat.
So they were practically coming to my house to die.
I saw 2 or more.

I prayed sha and moved on.
Dont worry.
Worrying will do no good.
Trust your God almighty and declear that you are safe, ur husband is and your lo is.

Abuja govt hospital will not take ur delivery or charge u extra so long as u didn't register with them. a woman who was in labour was rushed to asokoro general hospital, they refused to attend to her cos she didn't register for ANC with them. she ended up birthing in a private hospital. u must register with them, if u come in while in labour they will send u away. only private hospitals will accept u and charge u extra. what's ur location? there are good private hospitals in Abuja, don't take because of what happened to a family friend to judge all private hospitals, people also die in government hospitals . my neighbor lost his wife and son in a govt hospital.

Even emergency surgery they take....

Only that the person will use the emergency wing while registered pipz use upstairs.

During antenatal, last week 2 people had emergency surgery where one baby was almost out but too big.... 3 other women gave birth there... and they attended to all.

Why will you refuse to be ADMITTED where proper care will be given to you to avoid malaria complications and come online to question the drugs you were given? I hope you are not self medicating o? Malaria causes serious harm to unborn babies so please don't joke with it.


However it's a classB drug so it's safe.

this is not a malaria drugs. it's an antibiotics used to treat wide range of bacteria. safe for breastfeeding and pregnant women.

Which hospital did you go to? Which area are you in?
They will charge you higher compared to pple that registered.

I just read where you made mention of the hospital. Can you check out Federal staff hospital Jabi or even the one in Gwarimpa. I really don't know about Mararaba axis but check the ones I mentioned first. Garki hospital too but may be higher.

I did this oral test during my 3rd preggy I think. Omoh the thing no funny o, all that plenty time wasting for just one test after which the test came out clean Mtchewww. And the test is even expensive.

It may be cos of the details you provided for example, if any one in your family member is diabetic or maybe the blood test you took showed slightly high level of sugar.

Thanks to answering my questions,I reject admission coz of the economy ni o,I was ask to deposit 25k before admitting me and he gave me an option to be coming from home everyday for 4 days if I want to. That's is why I decline the admission since he gave me other option.

Am not doing self medication,am using the drugs they gave me and am going for my injections tooo,am just curious abt this particular drugs cz I suspect it is anti biotics.

@ iomoge2, from my little knowledge, glucose tolerance test is a standard test done for pregnant women around 24-28 weeks in some parts of the world. It's usually done to rule out gestational diabetes. Where I live, it's a compulsory test for all pregnant women and the lab would have told you how many hours it will take ahead of time. Had mine this Monday too and they asked me to come in early so that I won't have to fast for too long and I was out of there in 2.5 hours. Told me to stop eating by 10pm and come in before 8am, but I could drink water during that period. The lab lady even advised me to bring a book because I'll be bored then she drew the first blood, gave me a sweet glucose solution to drink and blood was again drawn at intervals. I was even offered a bed to sleep incase I felt dizzy during the process because they didn't allow me wait it out in the car saying something like incase I pass out (God forbid) no one will know

It's good your doctor advised you to do it, he knows what he's doing so just trust him. Your result will come out fine by Gods grace. Hopefully your office understands
