some persons here stayed at home for years before getting this job n others got dis job immediately after their NYSC. so no body should scorn at anybody who feels to report to work. we are only writing online. my advice is if u can go to work but dot compel or abuse others whose conscious can't allow dem stay at home. let's wait till 8th of October, to c wat our leaders will do. do not fall victim ooo. nobody noz wat dis pple are up to. |

Federal Govt., States, Local Governments share N510.2 billion in August Premium Times, September 20, 2016 Agency Report Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, on Tuesday in Abuja, said N510.2 billion was shared among the federal, states and local governments as revenue realised in August. She made the disclosure while addressing a news conference on the outcome of the Federation Account Allocation Committee, FAAC. The amount is higher than the N493.6 billion shared in July by N16.6 billion. The minister said that during the month, N315 billion was generated as statutory distributable revenue, adding that this was higher than the N287.8 billion received in the previous month by N27.22 billion. She added that “the sum of N6.3 billion was refunded to the Federation Account by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). “There is a proposed distribution of N35 billion Excess Petroleum Profit Tax. “Also, there was the exchange gain of N84.2 billion proposed for distribution.’’ She also said that Value Added Tax (VAT) was N75.9 billion as against N66.9 billion generated in July, indicating an increase of N8.9 billion. She added that mineral revenue for the month was N158.7 billion, whilethat of July was N119.4 billion. Non-mineral revenue for August was N156.3 billion and that of July was N168.4 billion. Giving the breakdown of revenue amongthe three tiers, Mrs. Adeosun said the Federal Government received N187.3 billion, representing 52.68 per cent, while states got N95.0 billion, representing 26.72 per cent. Local governments, she said, received N73.2 billion, amounting to20.60 per cent of the amount distributed, while N18.4 billion, representing 13 per cent derivation revenue, was shared among oil producing states. According to her, crude oil export volume increased by 2.2 million barrels in May in spite of the brief Force Majeure declared at Qua Iboe and Bonny Terminals. She also said that there was $109 millionrevenue increase in federation export sales as a result of the increase in average price of crude oil from 42.2 dollars in April to 46.0 dollars per barrel in May. She said there was a rise in dutiable imports which contributed significantly to the increase recorded by import duty and VAT. The minister said that the balance of the excess crude account stood at $2.91 billion. (NAN) |

₦510.2 billion shared between Federal, State and Local government is a good news. We should be expecting our 4 months salary (April - July) between now and next week. Rivers state share from FAAC distribution this month will be high. May God help us. |

ChyChy17:That's what u guys need to have understood long ago. Paying salaries doesnt give them anything, they see it as a burden. Its in carrying out inferior projects they steal and make money from. Why do you think Wike is embarking on these projects? That's where he steals from. A project of #1bn can be valued at 3bn. 1 Like |

Belexy95:I have said it before in this forum that the reason why this man embark on numerous project was for the purpose of stealing Rivers people money, and not because he loves Rivers people. He doesn't care if salaries of Civil Servants are paid or not, or if they are starving or not. We shall continue to experience more of this as time goes on, except we are being delivered by God almighty. We should be very grateful to God and Amaechi, left for this man alone, some of us here will remain unemployed forever. This man only care for his pocket and no one else. If there is any opportunity for him to sack all the newly employed teachers, he will do. Just watch out, very soon he will come up with a different strategy to dehumanise and sack workers, but God is on our side. 3 Likes |

Gov.Wike's non payment of Civil servants salaries has caused the death of many Civil servants, mostly teachers. A teacher from Etche LGA lost his life two days to do his biometric exercise, he was very sick and their was no money available for him to take treatment. A teacher lost his four children children just because their was no money to give his children proper feeding, this same man was heavily indebted to the extent that he can no longer borrow as usual. A teacher from Asari Toru LGA died some few days ago for lack of money to take good treatment during illness, he will be buried this coming Saturday. These are just few noticeable cases among many. Many family has turned upside down as a result of non payment of salaries. Bread winers can no longer provide for the upkeep of their families, these is terrible. God should intervene oh........ 3 Likes |

Governor wike and as well as all politicians involved in delaying out salaries have crashed relationships and broken apart marriages... Yet I heard God say "vengeance is mine" how long shall we wait in hope your people are dying of hunger and frustration o Lord. |
