It seems some peeps fail to check their mentions.
Here goes once again;

DELTA STATE
The biggest heart smiley

Delta State is an oil and agricultural producing state of Nigeria, situated in the region known as the South-South geo-political zone. The capital city is Asaba, located at the northern end of the state while Warri is the economic nerve center of the state and also the most populated located in the southern end of the state.

Delta State is ethnically diverse with peoples and seven major languages and dialects are spoken in the state. The state is divided into two regions on account of state creation movements (between 1976 and 1996) which was a feature of the military governance of Nigeria. This culminated to the increment of states in Nigeria from 12 states to the present 36 states.

Delta State is ethnically diverse with peoples and seven major languages and dialects are spoken in the state.
The first group are Anioma (Igboid group) which consists of Aniocha/Oshimili, Ndokwa/Ukwuani ethnic nationality, and Ika. These areas occupy the Delta North senatorial district of the state.

The second group comprises Urhobo/Isoko (Edoid group), Itsekiri (Yoruboid group), and Ezon ethnic groups. These ethnic groups occupy the Central and South Senatorial districts of the state. The Urhobo and Isoko speak very similar dialects unlike the Ezon and Itsekiri people but have a loosely related culture as they traded and intermarried for centuries before colonization. The Itsekiri are linguistically and culturally related to the Yoruba and Edo ethnic groups of Western Nigeria, while the Ezon are a branch of their kith and kin in neighbouring Bayelsa state. Most inhabitants of the state practice Christianity and very few traditional faiths—although the Ukwuanis also have many cultural affiliation with these groups most especially in their cosmic outlook.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT
Delta State consists of 25 Local Government Areas. They are Ethiope East, Aniocha North, Bomadi, Ethiope West, Aniocha South, Burutu, Okpe, Ika North East, Isoko North, Sapele, Ika South, Isoko South, Udu, Ndokwa East(My Local Government) Patani, Ughelli North, Ndokwa West, Warri North, Ughelli South, Oshimili North, Warri South, Uvwie, Oshimili South, Warri South West, Ukwuani. For your PPA, You may find yourselves in any of these Local Governments.

The camp in Delta State is in a village called Isselle – Uku, about 20 minutes from Asaba, the capital. According to some past corpers, Delta camp is fun. The state pays 5,000 naira, i dont know if this has changed now but i think its still the same.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Most of the big companies are easily located in Asaba and Warri, Sapele, Ubulu ukwu, other local governments too have companies but not as much as the ones in the first two cities.

FOOD
One of the most popular and tasty dish of the Deltans is Ofe Nsala and pounded yam. This is mostly common to the people of Ndokwa east. So if posted in Ndokwa East, dont dare to leave without tasting this delicacy. You will never be dissapointed. Other popular foods are Ofe akwu (Banga soup), Ugwho soup and Usi. Food items are really cheap as well.

PEOPLE
The people of Delta state are very accommodating, welcoming, friendly and warmhearted. Get ready to be over-embraced for coming to the community. Very high respect is given to corpers. You might sometimes end up getting any commodity for free because you are a corper.
*Warning* Dont misuse the opportunity o!

LIVING CONDITIONS
For those who may not want to be in the corpers lodge, you can get a room between 50-100,000 a year, depending on what you are looking for and where . Its a very peaceful state. On the downside, you may not get water or light in some remote villages. Please dont go and come back without learning one delta dialect. Deltan language is very sweet and easy to learn. You must tell me what you learnt when you come back.

NOTE*
Please learn to ask question expecially if posted to the remote villages. There are farms, fruit trees that you shouldnt pluck or go into except if given the permission. To avoid theft, local farmers sometimes uses charms to bar thieves from reaping their harvest.

If you are posted to Ndokwa east, No swimming in the River Niger if you are not a Pro Pro. The water is very tempting but its deeper than you think. Dont say no one told you.

Well. thats all the research i could come up with for now.
Goodluck guys and WELCOME TO DELTA STATE!

in terms of IT (information technology) it all depends on ur luck 4 ur ppa posting bt the main aspect of IT that is comon here is networking, cctv instalations and others that is if ur posted to such areas

bt generally luck are nt d same cos wat u call displeasing might be pleasurd on my side

ABOUT ANAMBRA STATE

Anambra is one of the Eastern states of Nigeria created in 27th August 1991 out of old Anambra/Enugu.
It's of an Igbo ethinicity.
It has 21 L.G.As
Made up of 177 communities
Shares border with Kogi, Enugu, Abia, Imo, Delta.

SLOGAN
Light of the Nation

Security
It's on record that Anambra as from 2012 till date has the safest state in Nigeria. Trust me, Anambra has the best organised community vigilantee who are well equipt and are well trained.

ENVIRONMENT
Anambra has the best road networks. Apart from FG roads(those areas the state govt couldn't do cos of fund), all other roads in Anambra are in perfect condition. Almost all the communities in have major access road tiled.
We are neat people, you hardly see refuse dumps along along our ways. ASWAMA is really doing a great job.

Indigene-Stranger relationship
Yes, hear this! Igbos in general welcome and trust well mannered strangers more than themselves.
Corpers are well repected esp in Rural areas. They will always try to assist you- giving you a lift, donate foodstuffs, provide a room for you in any of their big but empty mansions.

Remuneration
The state Govt pays 5K comfirmed!cheesy
Some PPAs pays as well
I dont know abt the amount paid to Doctors, and those in the medical field

ACCOMODATION
In Awka and Onitsha metropolis, House rent varies btw 70k - 150 k for self contains and btw 150 - 450k for flats depending on the rooms and sizes
Areas like Nnewi, Ekwulobia, Umunze, Oko, Umuoji, have areas with same house rent as Awka and Onitsha and some other areas where you can be giving a room for free.

ALMOST ALL THE PPAs of GOVT PARASTATALS (esp, the rural communities) provides accomodation for corpers. In some cases the towns organise and provide one for corpers.

we all know how Anambra people loves building big Houses in their villagessmiley, owing to that those houses are left unoccupied or majorily occupied by their ageing parents hence many rooms are left empty. This makes it easy for one to find a place where you pay as low as N500- N1500 Monthly, or free if you can always keep the house clean till the owners come back for xmas.

Electricity
very good in major cities and average in most communities.

Traditional restrictions
Awka people don't kill Monkey. grin
Nnewi people don't kill bush rat.
Idemmiri people don't kill Python(not serious anymore).
Women dnt climb Palm treegringrin.

SOCIAL LIFE
Anambra people both Men and Women are enterprising and hardworking, but that doesn't take that Oringo away from us.
You will always find an nearest enjoyment spot anywhere you are.
We get am for sports too.

GIRLS: grin just like lagos gals, na your money. Most of our girls are enterprising and as such won't be swayed by your patry NYSC allowance. Men! you got to be dolling in millions for you to sway them. But they can like you sha
I dnt expect you to go for the sec school gals cos it seems abnormal to me but they are very sharp and with sharp eyes like razor blade sha.
GUYS: they can spend on you but not without getting anything. Trust me, you can't outsmart them esp the Business Guysgrin
LADIES NOTE THIS: boys of sec school age no get fear, expect extensive wooing from them if you are posted to a sec sch.grin

ORIENTATION CAMP
It is located at Umunya in Oyi Local G.A.
It along the Notorious shocked sad (yes, as abandoned by the FG) Enugu-Onitsha Expressway hence very easy to get there.
People coming from North will just pass along it.

APART FROM THE MAJOR CITIES IN ANAMBRA, OTHER COMMUNITIES ARE SEMI-URBAN, AND FAR FROM BEING RURAL.

Almost all understands Pidgin except the aged who are not educated.

Posimii I would love you to serve in Anambracheesy

Welcome to the highest oil and gas producing state in the country. Outside English, the main languages spoken here are Ibibio, Annang and Oron. Major cities include Uyo, Eket, Abak, Ikot Ekpene and Ikot Abasi. The NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp is located in Ikot Itie Udung, Nsit Atai Local Government Area. The environment is nice and serene, no hustle and bustle. Also have nice places to visit. The cost of living here is moderate. By moderate I mean that foodstuffs are cheap but other commodities are a bit high since there's no port here to ship goods directly. The transport system is simple. Commuters make use of buses, taxis and keke napep in Uyo, while bikes are used in rural areas. The power supply here is bae! And that is an understatement! You can get self-cons in Uyo between 70-120k but lesser in other lgas. Single rooms go for 2-3k. The state pay Corpers 10k. Talk of it being slashed to 5k due to the present state of the economy is making the rounds. Flexing here is 100 as long as you got the money, though not up to the standard in places like Lagos or Rivers. The people here are accommodating. And there's jara... The babes can take care of guys sha...
