elampiro: Mtcheew...Your Mourinho with Back to Back defeats...Or the Herrera chopping bench and asslicking his captain? Yes, Pogba is a flop but what's my business? Bench Rooney is all we want. Put Mata or Miki in the NO 10; Pogba can sit in the bench for all I care, I just don't want to see fatso on the field 5 Likes |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 4:03pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
elampiro:Yes Pogba has been shit also but he is still adapting to the league. Rooney on the other hand has been shit for years. Remember one of them cost 89m if you were a manager who would you bench |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 4:05pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
Oasis007: Lol. The poll ends with my comment. It is over. No dey spam this thread with anti-Rooney posts. We have already agreed that he can be dropped. He doesn't justify his starting place anymore. I welcome changes that can move us forward. Let everyone fight for his place. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 4:09pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
OEmperor: Let’s watch how we move from here. No one should have immunity. Anyone who makes us play better should be selected. |

elampiro: Bravo!!! Elampiro finally sees the light! If Elampiro could eventually ask for Rooney to be sidelined, then I am convinced JM has also made up his mind on him! |

Hahahaha...I'm still tryna know who was chasing Wayne Rooney in that Watford match when he settled down and blew a supposed cross into a goal kick!! Afrodoc2 can you help me on that |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by UniqueGem(m): 4:22pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
elampiro:Baba you're saying nonsense just to make a point for Rooney. You practically have nothing against Rooney for standing and ball watching in that situation. Even the opponents number 15 behind Rooney is moving whereas Rooney is just standing and ball watching. There was a time Rooney would have gone in, make the tackle, get the ball, start a counter and finish it with a goal all in 22secs. That was when Rooney still had it him. I'm afraid that's the Rooney you still have in your imagination till today. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elrony(m): 4:23pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
The squad being paraded of recent really lacks team Chemistry, the cohesion and combination play is sub par. Mourinho has a lot of work to do,especially in squad selection and tactical tinkering. The players need to work on themselves (their form and individual prowess) and stop playing like disemboweled entities without life force and determination. I don tire to dey blame some players,it's obvious that nothing much can come from them. #my20Naira (as Cent don cost ). 1 Like |

UniqueGem: Lol...I hope he's getting the benefit in the doubt? I wish Rooney well,he should get his goals and get outta the Starting line up(and perhaps the club)!! He's paid his dues, shouldn't be among those dragging the team down! Over 14 years top flight footie action,na pension levelz him suppose dey now (MLS and China). |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 5:23pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
UniqueGem: You have looked at the picture upside down. Rooney has no business with Zunga. Shaw had two men moved into his position, he needed to cover that space but he didn't. Go and watch the highlight. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 5:31pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
Oasis007: I didn't categorically say he should be sidelined. You know say you no too know English. |

Just 7mb It showed it from various angles, Rooney kept an eye on his man, it was only when he saw that the situation had become hopeless that he stopped. If Shaw had kept running, Zunga wouldn't have scored. |

I strongly believe one of the problems of MAN UTD is the issue of waiting/standing-still to receive a pass instead of running into space or creating it to receive the pass. this tends to make their play slow and easy to negate (no fluidity ). example of this is the match against city where everyone (including myself )concluded that Mikki flopped, he's used to players who pass and run into space (Dortmund and FC Shakhtar play fluid football ). another case is when Mata came on against Watford and lost possessions cos he was passing into space for his teammates, and I 'think' this might be affecting Pogba cos he's also used to fluid midfield play 3 Likes |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by atebesunny: 5:53pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
To curb this issue (my previous post ) Mou needs to Play an orchestrator/playmaker who has an eye for pass (quick pass) and space (Carrick, shwenni or Herrera can do the job for the time being ) #my opinion |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 5:57pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
Watford took a freekick, Rooney went to mark. Luke Shaw distance from the his man meant Rooney was comfortably passed around. Rooney still kept a eye on his man. Luke Shaw's man passed the ball to another who dragged Pogba out of position. Fellaini sensed the danger and went to cover, but Luke Shaw didn't go to cover the vacuum left by Fellaini. That was the fault. UniqueGem, stop looking at malicious publications made by Liverpool fans to dicsredit Rooney.

^^^ Pogba is also at fault for this goal. The guy who gave the Assist escaped from Pogba. Pogba was marking empty space while pointing to Fellaini to mark two men. But the English press managed to put it on Rooney who carefully watched his man. All the the name to make big Sam drop him for Herdenson. |

elampiro:A player that was striking only to be pushed here and there so as to accommodate him don't you think people are just tolerating him? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by SIRcumalot: 6:29pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
i never know why Emre Can never bench henderson for that liverpool midfield. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 6:33pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
eph12: May be they were also tolerating Scholes when he was moved from number 10 to the midfield, then to the wing. |

Rooney to be dropped against leicester! Its about time.........I'm sure mourinho will claim he has suffered one phantom injury just to cover up.....we dey wait! |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by weedtaker: 6:42pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
that goal was Shaw's fault though, even mourinho pinned the blame on him, i don't know where dis Rooney theory is emanating from. 1 Like |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 6:44pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
Elamps, Pogba is the main man at fault for that second goal. He lost his man. Although Shaw was sluggish, he should't bear the brunt. Rooney is blameless. Pogba is the main culprit. He watched as his marker escaped him. |
