Let me start this way. Did anyone get an email from Fiverr that their buyers will be charged $6 but the seller will only see $5 ?

As for me, I never got any email stating adjustment in charges and fees. You can imagine how shocked I was, when a buyer ordered my basic gig. And as my usual style, I tried to convince the buyer to go for the gig extra to make his order solid. Only for the buyer to ask me for a $4 offer, because he already paid 6 bucks for the basic gig.

This got me really confused. To be frank, I politely disagreed with him over this, saying that he only paid 5 bucks. He was however very matured by accepting $5 extra offer I sent him.

I will later do my little research and found out buyers will have to pay $1 processing fee. To keep this short, fiverr is not taking the sellers into their policy direction. The fact remains, their is no business for fiverr without the sellers.

You may think the $1 is small, but it has defeated the sole aim of FIVERR BRAND – which is based on 5 bucks. Now, lovely buyers are charged 6 bucks.

This is a massive corporate blunder. This is misinformation. This is deception.

This is totally unfair, not only to the sellers, but most importantly to the buyers.

Fiverr should change its name to 6xers to be fair to all.

I dont think this 1dollar seller fee will.materialize
Oyinbo are too smart for that
It cant work
It will bring the site down
No business organization charges a buyer

Albeit, i am not saying it cant come through.

Furthermore, what i saw was that fiverr want to have a package whereby sellers will subscribe to in such a way that your gig will be ranked in the top searches
Do this wont be about review anymores or positive ratings

Once u subscribe for the ranking "more or less like facebooks sponsored pages or sponsored post or twitters promoted or ads for blogs"

So you are technically paying to be shown in the faces of buyers

Now d good part is that until your gig was bought before you will be debited for the promotion

So it like you will have a separate dashboard for that, a kind of wallet for the promotion.

The bad part is that sellers who do this promotion will increase thier prices, because they wont be five dollar gig again, it is folly to have five dollar gig when 1percent will ne charged on sales and another percent for promoting the gig, so they wont be five dollar gig

This promotion package is optional

Now another good part is that, the small sellers who cant opt for the promo will have higher sales because buyers will be afraid to go for the promoted guys because dey will feel that thier mouth done wide so let me go for the lower sellers

Conclusively, this move by fiverr will segregate the upper echellons from the urchins/plankton guys

So ppl wey go buy better thing with better quality go dey
Ppl wey no get money to chop better soup go go for lower gig sellers

Either way everybody go get market

No be d one wey only top ranking guys dey chop d whole market

Its been long I realize fiverr is a scam....I will advice everyone to build a brand for his business. Whether writer, graphic designer,developer,audio engineer,....name it, gather what you can from fiverr, get a site done for you, showcase your skill,portfolio, tell your repeat buyers about it since u've create trust working consistently with them........keep adding to your skill. One day, you won't neeed any intermediary.

The part wey dey vex me wit fiverr is that 2 weeks clearance period....with upwork, 5 days you don collect ur cash.

No you can only use Payoneer or PayPal to withdraw via Fiverr. You can use skrill to withdraw from upwork. Yes you need to send them your ID card if and when asked.

Hi, everyone. I want to expand my skills to motion graphics and 2d animation and I need the following softwares in order to do that:
1.Adobe After Effects. I tried downloading it from their website to no avail. It refuse to download. I dont know why. I searched google for alternative download links but all led to the adobe website. So please if you know anywhere were I can download it + cr.ac.k let me know.
2.Explaindio. This one I saw but the file size was 2. Sumtin gig. I don't have that kin of data in this buhari era. So if you know where I can get it for 1gig or less abeg tell me.(+cr.ac.k).
3.svg images. I have seen some packs but more will be gladly appreciated.
