Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham all kept clean sheets. We couldn't even hold out in the first half. Anyway a win is a win. So that's positive.

Rooney should look lively so MLS clubs can take him off our hands. It would be embarrassing to have to sell him to Southampton or, heavens forbid, back to Everton.

The Goal we conceded was due to a lapse in concentration leading to a stupid penalty. Overall they didn't trouble us.

Rooney had his normal cerebral palsy; running like he is crawling, missing empty nets and being useless all round. If young had started in CF, we would have been three goals up in 30mins.

Looking forward to how we play against Leicester. I once said style of play is more important to me than the result. I still maintain that stand. If we cannot press and pass Leicester off the pitch we not ready to play in the champions league yet.

Their goal was as a result of Tim not doing what he was supposed to thereby forcing blind to foul that dude resulting in a pen. They wouldn't have gotten a goal if not for that. Heck Romero made just one real save.
