I know today isn't bumpy Tuesday but abeg make una helep me look dis my bump. Is it not too big for 23weeks? Fear don de catch me o! Some of my neighbors are even thinking I'm already 8months pregnant o!

Secondly, lately, dizziness has been the order of the day. I get so dizzy that I have to stop what I'm doing, take off tight clothes, and just lie down for sometime before I'm relieved. 
Also, if I eat, after I finish eating, and I drink water, I'll get dizzy and weak that I'll just have to sit down for a while till I'm relieved. 

Is all this normal? 

P.S
I drink lots of liquid so I'm usually not dehydrated and I sit in a well ventilated area. Infact whether light de or light no de, my rechargeable fan is always working.

LO kicks like crazy! My belly is an acrobatic stadium for him

And sometimes I feel pressure in my lower abdomen as if lo is resting on something. I get this heavy feeling but it goes away after a while. 

My next appointment is in 3weeks

@ jazzyjazz, the truth is our bodies carry pregnancies very differently. You may just be one of those people with larger bumps but I think it isn't too big. People will always comment, if your bump is small, they'll talk. If it's big, they'll still talk. You aren't carrying pregnancy for them, pls flaunt your bump and shame the devil. It's no one's business how big your bump is.

As for the dizziness and tiredness especially after eating, have you tried eating smaller portions? As you said, try not to stand up immediately after a small meal. Drink water in between as you eat. Take a comfortable position before you start eating so you don't have to turn or change position too much after each meal.

If you still have doubts about the bump or you feel really concerned about your state of health, call your doctor's office and book an appointment. That's your doctor's job so don't feel guilty that you need to see him. They can help you measure your bump too or you can do it yourself using a measuring tape. It may be that your body is lacking something that's why you feel so tired (but God forbid that). They can run a blood test but I believe you are absolutely fine by God's grace.

In other news, I couldn't sleep for up to 5 hrs today. Woke up around 1am and was replaying all I have done during the day in my head. Please what's happening to me? Is this part of the package.

sorry about the headache. Mine only stop when I took pcm. My edd is 28th march. @ Olamitie, my teamie, sorry for your MS ooo, this is my third pregnancy and I have never experienced it before. This is the only one that saliva want to kill me but it is not much. The only thing that stop the spitting is a bottle of coke or mint chewing gum and the only food my system can digest very well is the food with enuf scent leaves. Its well.

For the after eating part, try not to get very hungry b4 you eat. If you are already very hungry, take a cup of tea or drink for a supply of glucose before you eat.
Don't also eat a large portion of a heavy meal at once. Blood will move to ur stomach with reduce blood flow to ur head thereby making you lightheaded. You can goggle post prandial dizziness in pregnancy for more info. I suffered from it a lot. All the best, don't forget to check ur pcv

Has she missed her period yet? Very possible to start exhibiting Pregnancy symptoms that early as every woman is different. However it could also be a sign of pms- pre-menstrual syndrome? Put your mind at ease and go to a pharmacy and get 50 naira test strip or to a laboratory for a blood pregnancy test. Try not to do any thing nasty bro.

To God be the glory I delivered on the 13th September after 10years of waiting.

I just want to share my testimony to encourage someone who is going through stress in life or marriage, you are not alone. But don't give up.

I got married in 2006 at the age of 20yrs and since then nothing. In fact my in-laws said that I have destroyed my womb with abortion and lot more.

Out of desperation, i started buying all manner of baby things and at the end of the day I gave them out, I started charity works, birthdays at the orphanage etc

By January I missed my period went for test and it came out positive after years of humiliation. My sisters na so. Could have gotten everything I needed then but I said let me wait till I know the sex but before I knew the sex things were no longer as they were. 38wks I never buy anything. But I will always tell my dh don't worry the sacrifices of my past will always speak.

On the 7th I was paid 1 month in my place of work out of six months, dh got some cash. Hmmm I bought everything I needed in one day. We also kept for hospital.

Labour is a different story. Because my bags were not packed, I wasn't exercising so that the baby won't come. So I had a deep cut cos I dilated only 2cm but my cervix was open. So many things but God took control.

My baby came on hubby's birthday.

Motherhood is a whole different and lovely experience. Lord am grateful to you.
