Hello all!

I am presently having a discussion with my friends and I have decided to bring it down to my second home, nairaland.

2019 is fast approaching and we are trying to come up with personalities and names that we think can be a formidable opposition to President Buhari if he chooses to re-contest in 2019.

Coming out with an opposition is not easy. Some of my friends said there is only one man that can oppose him; Goodluck jonathan. Other names coming up are Saraki, Atiku Abubakar, Dino Melaye, David Mark, Rochas Okorocha, Fashola, Oshomole, Chris Okotie. e.t.c.

It is as if we won't be getting anything new come 2019.

So dear Nairalanders, who do you think can be a formidable opposition to President Buhari if he chooses to contest in 2019?

I dont like Jonathan, but he seems like the only one popular enough to take him on. The number of Wailers we have now is huge.

I just wish we have another alternative as we had in 2015 with buhari, but presently there's nobody and it's very dangerous for our polity not to have someone viable

Very well ready to vote Sir GEJ back, after a taste of a confused Buhari for only 1 year anybody can unseat him, even a NANS president.

You need a madman to rule this Country of stiff necked people who needs to be forced to adjusts and set good examples for. Pat Utomi is another Yemi Osinbajo, Goodluck Jonathan. I prefer they draw the curtain after this Buhari administration by 2019 and a military set up takes over by "mopping up" these set of corrupt politicians we currently parade. Buhari should pray to survive his current tenure first. 2019? No we've had enough.

Buhari will not spare any serious contender (I don't mean participants) he suspects is nursing the ambition to challenge him in 2019 should he be interested for a second term in office whether from APC or PDP.
