There's no serious government that is focused on capital development that does not borrow. For those who don't know, foreign creditors such as the World bank don't just hand over money on request, they do so after a critical evaluation and Monitoring. The current administration never denied borrowing from Foreign creditors. The biggest being the 75 million dollars world bank loan to facilitate water projects. As citizens, we should be more concerned with what each candidate plans to do once they come on board rather than crude attempts to defame one another. For those who don't know, Lagos is by far the most indebted subnational debt state of with over a billion dollars in loans yet nobody is whining because it is a foundation for the future.

Oshiomhole sacked 10000 Edo State YES(Youth Empowerment Schemes) workers including ESMA(Traffic officers) he campaigned with before he was elected, after he lied/promised to permanently staff them into Edo State civil service. 90% of roads in Edo State are dilapidated/bad. Oshiomhole only tarred few major roads for 8yrs. Oshiomhole illegally made a retired sodier a permanent secretary(PS). He uses touts/Agboro from no where to be heading civil servants including d graduates among them to do thuggery jobs they didn't apply for under Edo State Ministry of Transport & Environment. Baba be objective joor. That is not the only road that has not been rehabilitated in benin. Constructing that road without a proper drainage system is an effort in futility. So until the storm water project gets before any real work can be done there. You guyz in ekehuan area should stop making it look like government intentionally abandon you.

I'm from Edo and I left there last month, I know he worked on some roads and renovated some schools but have you bothered to ask if there are teachers in those schools, School fees in the Ambrose Alli university was 18,000 before he came in even then the state paid bursary to students, today the school fees is over 80k or so with no bursary and no amenities in that school.

Ask market women, bus drivers how much they paid as tax before oshiomole came in and how much they pay today now if you add that to the loan oshio has collected so far then you will agree he is a big criminal when compared to the work done.

The previous govt didn't do much in Edo state but they didn't bring so much hardship on Edolites, school fees was cheap and market women didn't have to pay through their anus only for their money to be looted.
