LadyGuinivere: @ladyG the money there now is his payment( commission) for all his purchases. Just that the account has constant in flow of very large sum. Pls, one other thing I was at Gtb to pay for B2 visa and it showed B1/B2. I asked the lady and she said there is no B2 in her system that I can use B1/B2 for medical. Since my purpose is for child birth I wanted to apply directly for medical visa. I need to b sure b4 I submit and book appointment. |

Chanbaby: It's the same thing, they combine the two together to get B1/B2. The lady you met at the bank is right |

LadyGuinivere:. I don't agree with this. @ chanbaby, you husband is simply doing business that the money was paid in by other people does not matter. If you are asked u tell the vo that you are husband works for. ........ And he is also into car business or importation of vehicles (after all some dey come from outside naija) .while giving him the statement you can tell him that one is for his salary while the second is his business account. The fact that both are in his name is better for you. That way u might not need reference letter from bank to identify or state ownership. Oyibo people de do 2-4 jobs so it's not strange for one to be working and having a side business. BTW does hubby work in a bank? 12 Likes 1 Share |

chikos: from what i have noticed, VO don't even like hearing about car importation and selling business. I think i read it in one of the previous threads. If you need to prove that you have money to pay for your trip, kindly put that money where you are sure won't raise questions. Money for buying and selling cars should actually be in a company account if it is a business. i might be wrong thou. try and look up previous threads 5 Likes |

@Chanbaby Carry the 2 statements, explain to the VO as he goes through them -that is his salary account... -that one has cash inflow from importation business he does on the side Atleast that is what I did,my husband's accounts were both in his name(personal and business) all I did was explain, although we already had our money for the trip saved up in another account.I presented all and explained each as VO flipped through. 2 Likes |

Hello house, A quick question to those who booked flight on BA website, was your card charged the same rate as shown on the website or a totally different amount? Thanks |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 4 by Austine2020: 1:56am On Sep 23, 2016 |
quin9:Very true, they should use both statement of Accounts.since both Accounts are in his name and explain it all to the VO. It wiil enhance their chances of getting the visa even more, Good luck to them. |

@ChanBaby I think you should go with both accounts ....it's makes more sense as long as the both accounts has your husband name has the business owner.. I went with my both accounts too .. [uote author=Chanbaby post=49591723] @ladyG the money there now is his payment( commission) for all his purchases. Just that the account has constant in flow of very large sum. Chanbaby:It seems my point was misunderstood. Let me try again. If the money is business money, can it be used to give birth? I don't believe so. That's what I mean by 'what u can defend'. So if you can defend that money, why not? Now, you have clarified that the balance as at now reflects his own money/balance. Imo, there's no point moving the money from account a to b.so u don't start stuttering and long explanations. Take both along and explain the dynamics of each one.. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 4 by dere5: 6:04am On Sep 23, 2016 |
bigfido: Give the Vo both statements and explain to them . I know people that got visas solely by telling the vo that they are travelling to the US to buy cars and other goods eg supermarket groceries to sell in Nigeria and they got visas without any qualms |

MsJanez01: This is not true. The documentation provided by the doctor is as required by the US Embassy. Although the petitioner may still be rejected, it would not be because of the medical documentation. 1 Like 1 Share |

LadyGuinivere: To add to what bigfido said, car importation and sales are usually viewed as smuggling business. if it's not a registered company I don't advice you go wiv it o. U just neva knw what the VO will ask for. What if company registration and taxes are asked for? Better to err on the side of caution. 3 Likes |

@chanbaby..I think this question has been answered over and over again here . You will need to read back to better equip yourself.. since it's for medical purpose select B2 for yourself but if your hubby , mom or child is going with you then you fill b1/b2 for them but yours has to be B2 only .. Chanbaby: Mama, I actually filled for B1/B2 as advised by the Visa Officer because i told him my purpose and i also check online for some other fact before making that decision. My own issue now is appointment date. Is too far? I can see first appointment as october 26th and i intend travel Early November. I just hope this wont cause denial again. @LadyGuinivere, come to our aid please. Thank you as always. |

Good day good people of NL.....Thank you for all the info being shared here. As a silent follower, I really appreciate each and everyone.... Like the coming saying, in the spirit of giving back, Let me share my POE experience I flew emirates on Tuesday and arrived JFK. Flight was long, but there was enough food and drinks Entertainment was good, on air wifi and I got empty row of seats which I converted to a bed. The hostesses were so nice and kept asking if I wanted anything. Arrived JFK, did the automated check in and then proceeded to the CBP officer. Officer: Good afternoon Me: Goof afternoon. Hands him my passport and the slip from d automated machine Officer: what are u here for Me: To have a baby Officer: is this your first time here Me: No Officer: when last did you visit Me: Dec 2014 Officer : same reason Me: Yes Stamps me in for 6 months and that's all. Proceeded to get my bags. No secondary inspection, ...rechecked my bags for my flight to Chicago with Jetblue airlines Flight was delayed cos there was a bad weather at Chicago....they kept apologizing but gave us water, drinks and $20 meal vouchers. We finally boarded. Flight was good and still got complimentary cookies and water in board. Arrived Chicago safely. To God be the Glory. Surely we would all have great testimonies in Jesus name. Amen Wishing everyone a successful journey through all stages, Visa interview, flight, POE, accomodation, hospital, etc. Indeed we would all have a supernatural childbirth process and it will end in Praise. Amen Thank you. 23 Likes |
