Niger Delta ex militant leader, Tompolo's Father Funeral Today

The funeral of late. Chief Thomas Osen Ekpemupolo, the Tunteriwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, father of Tompolo has commenced today Friday 23rd of September 2016. At 8.00am, the body was taken from Vennell Hospital Mortuary via Miller Waterside to Kurutie town, Gbaramatu Kingdom, in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State and at 6. 00Pm there will be a Social wake keep till down.
Noting that on Saturday 24th September 2016 by 8.00Am, the body will be leaving to his hometown Okerenkoko, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area. At 9.00am Lying in state, 12.Noon-5Pm cultural dance /display will be taking place and by 6.00Pm there will also be a high powered traditional /Social wake keep till down.
It was further learnt that on Sunday 25th September 2016 at 8.00am there will be Interment and the burial ceremony will be concluded with a thanksgiving service at about .
He passed on at the age of 84 on September 7th 2016.
Late. Chief Thomas Osen Ekpemupolo until his death survived by four widows, 31 Children, 45 grand Children, 11 great grand Children.

I hope he has the sense not to attend, for his own good, the good of his people and for the sake of the lives of nigerian soldiers. cos there is no way tompolo would be arrested without serious violence ensuing.... already the waterways have seen all kinds of activities in the build up to this burial. hate him but u cant deny that tompolo is all and all to his people, he is to the ijos what ibori is to the urhobos.. bring any allegation you wish against him, he would still be loved and just like ibori, even in prison/exile they still rule the state cos most folks in govt got there through them.. all the same Tompolo seems like a man who picks his battles wisely, knows when to fight and when to run.. by 2019 a new govt may come and choose to forget his case in return for certain favours, its all politics.
