As a yoruba person, I support news that will move Nigeria forward be it from any geo political region. I commend the effort of Anambra government for his lucrative work. Let's also not forget that kebbi, abakaliki, ilesha and Ofada rice are seriously doing press up to hit market en-mass by december. By then, I hope to see a bag of rice btw 8-10k.

After some time when you don't see the supposed rice in the market, they would revert back to their default lie: "The rice is for export."

Good, this is what I expect to see, not some bags carrying the picture of a governor.
For me, It's not attractive to see a product co-bearing the name of a state: Anambra rice, bolder than product details.
Before you know it. It will Benue rice, Jigawa rice, kebbi rice, Ekiti rice... is that meant to be some species of rice or what??

Anyway, if it's the state government that is running the farm, I would suggest they privatise it for more profitability and branding.

Finally, wether it's a media stunt or not, I'm happy, it's in Nigeria, creates job, rice will be cheaper, less dependence on oil, more revenue true sales and tax, overall it's a win for Anambra and Nigeria as a whole
