As a young couple before you choose to rent an apartment where the landlord and landlady are leaving pray about it first take action according to the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Their is this couple that we're living with their landlord in same compound talk about landlady from hell if you know the persecution they suffered in that compound ; when they newly started living in that compound if you hear word of hatred and envy that usually proceed out of her mouth; the landlady will say, your husband is allowing you to drive car, when I was newly married like you my husband never care for me, she almost broke their marriage if not for the grace of God.

This landlady is a wolf in sheep clothing, she sees the tenants as a TOOL AND A SLAVE TO BE USED AND DUMPED, she can never add value to your life. She will disrespect and hate you when they are doing birthdays and ile ya and the tenant/slave she thinks do not give her any gift.

Life is too short to live in the same compound with a landlord/landlady who will eventually damage the life of your family.

Due to experience, i"ll never live as a landlord with tenants or live in the same compound with a landlord/lady and their family.

That's not so true!!some landlords could be a channel of blessing to their tenants. Growing up,my parents never had issues with our landlord till we moved to our house..infact,its always my father's prayer that all his tenants should pack to their own personal house when leaving his house and it's happening already..@least I know of three..but some landlords could be troublesome sha..some tenants too get for body .so no one is perfect..infact,its advisable to do background check before you move in. ask people around about your landlord before paying.

In every economic relationship or any kind of relationship there should be boundaries unless the principles of see finish aka over familiarity which breeds contempt will set IN. it's not about being a landlord or not, some tenants do worse. know their rules before moving in, if new ones crop up and not suitable for you, air your grievances. Above all, mind your business (home)

Some tenants are devil themselves. We don't live with our tenants but when I went there last week, what I saw was shocking. They can't even sweep the compound even to pump water they will use is a problem.

Once beaten twice shy

Its not about living with landlord or not. Its about the personality of those you are living with. If you jam some terrible co tenants what will you do. A co tenant can equally frustrate your life.

Some landlords too don't like living with tenants tenants too can be very terrible. Some tenants will go about the whole street talking evil about the landlord to people on the street that the landlord just has a good morning relationship with. Some will live in a house and keep it so unkempt as if they dont intend to build theirs.

One can have a busybody tenant, landlord or co tenant.

Renting an apartment in naija requires a lot of investigation including spiritual.

My landlord and his wife are so peaceful, and loving.. They respect themselves alot and we respect them as well.. Everybody mind your business in our compound. Except during emergencies, then we come out of our flats to assist each other.. And the environment is very neat cause we have a cleaner who comes to clean up everywhere in the compound, four times a week.
In fact my landlord is a good man. God will continue to bless him and his family. Amen.

From the little I have seen of my landlord's wife, she has a character worthy of emulation. Very humble. You won't even know that her. husband has one naira through her character,if u see her outside her house. the husband is also like that. I have not heard anything bad about them. Been dere for almost 2yrs
